    Megadeth - Tornado of Souls

The original album version. The live version... was boring. Dave simply tries to show that he can sing without moving his lips when he plays live... now that's cool, but not for an album. I love this song in every aspect... and I can play the whole thing including a part from the 2nd solo.

Megadeth - Holy Wars...The Punishment Due

Megadeth at their best, the guitar work is brilliant.

    I'm seeing them in April...
    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Trogdor was a man
    Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
    Uhm...but he was still

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Burninating the countryside
    Burninating the peasants
    Buriniating all the people
    in their Thatched Roof Cottages

    Thatched Roof Cottages

And The Trogdor Comes in The Night.

Don't you dare miss them in April, this is their last tour. Speaking of April... I'm seeing Behemoth once again along with King Diamond, Nile, and The Black Dahlia Murder, bitches! I was going to see Morbid Angel tonight but I'm broke right now... Also plan to go see a Cryptopsy show and a Dark Tranquillity/Soilwork/Hipocrisy show sometime soon.

    Passenger - In Reverse

Anders Friden on vocals. This is so catchy and poser-like... it makes me sad...

Edit: Dark Tranquillity - Lost to Apathy(video)

There's at least one Gothenburg band that didn't defraud their hardcore fans with pop-like releases... and strangely enough, it's the oldest one. The new album "Character" is perfect. This video is pretty nifty too, fits in with the cover's artwork...

Mustaine did not write most of Kill Em All, he just wrote most of The Four Horsemen.

    Green Day - Minority

Pissed of that I don't have Warning: as of yet. AMG says it's tied with AE for their best :O...

'Like Toy Soldiers' - Eminem. That's a fucking powerful song. I usually don't like rap, but damn that song is good. Yeah....

Amon Amarth - The Fate of Norns

Title-track of the new album. Damn I'm really starting to like this band, I've never really given them much listens before. Their new album is a bit slower and much more melodic than their previous albums, and though most of the songs have a similar sound I don't find the album repetitive. Lots of tremolo picking... just how I love melodeath. Oh yeah, this vocalist is quite understandable btw.

Oh, about 2 hours ago, I figured out the entire "Pursuit of Vikings" song on guitar. All by myself... I wasn't in B tuning like they use, but I figured out the whole thing in standard E, now I'm going to use their tuning(if my strings can handle it) and try to see if my interpretation is identical(I'm almost positive it is). It took me 20 minutes to figure it out, I had the whole melody in my head, and I'm still surprised at how quickly I managed to figure the song out...

Unwritten Law - Rest Of My Life

Now this is one heck of a song. Shamelessly stealing Slims quote from above I feed a strong desire to aquire their entire back catalogue. Now.

    Lordi - Blood Red Sandman

This track, together with My Heaven Is Your Hell, is the best tracks on The Monsterican Dream. This is fucking cheesy (do an image search for "Lordi" on Google to get a laugh) as hell, but it's good...

The Police - Reggatta de Blanc

Fucking hell, how quick does Copeland want to do rim clicks on the snare? Possibly their best instrumental...

That brings a wide smile to my face. DT= Dream Theater? If that's so then that's interesting, I'd think more people would be talking about them at the Dark Tranquillity forum.

I will definately see them later this year... and purchase their upcoming album so I'll to give them at least some support.

    Megadeth - Five Magics

Damn this is fast. The opening seriously makes me want to get up and kick shit around. The bassline is eerie, but when the real action starts at 2:10... just orgasmic. I really love the Rust in Peace album. Does anybody know any other speed/thrash bands that play in the vein of Megadeth?

Julie Laughs Nomore - Children Of The Empty Cross

Awesome intro, really fast riffs at the start. A bit of power metal(ish) vocals
