Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism
Fantastic chilled rock, with a rather natty little riff that is remarkably easy on the ears.

Now I'm listening to Anime Planet's ShoutCast radio.

Dream Theater - In the Name of God (Live)
Dream Theater rule. They rule tenfolds more live. A perfect song and atmosphere to wake up to.
Saw them opening for Pearl Jam back in October. They... sucked.Originally Posted by Clive
But yeah, guess it's alright for easy listening, but even in that concept Pearl Jam's softer material totally owns them.
As I Lay Dying - Forever
Haven't been listening to any metalcore for a while. Not even Lamb of God, but since I decided to learn one of their songs last night I'm kind of in the mood for some throat burning stuff with breakdowns. Got some of that Gothenburg melody in there. Typical US metalcore, but it's entertaining for a while.
Various Fire Emblem tracks; specifically, from Seima no Kouseki. Some really good music in that game.
(Man, I have no life at all, do I?)
Nike Drake was awesome. I remember a while back BBC Radio done a show based around him, voiced over by Brad Pitt, funnily enough (apparently he's a massive fan). Despite the fact is far too late, its nice to see Drake finally getting some credit for his work.
Kristian Leontiou - Its OK
Think Ive mentioned this before, but its such a nice song, I think Im going to mention it again. So easy to listen to, and the fella's got superb vocals.

Death Cab For Cutie - Coney Island
These guys are my favourite band at the moment. Beautiful song, it reminds me of the aftermath of a long hot summer. Sublime piano, too.
Slim, oddly enough it's mainly Conor's voice that reminds me of Jeff. Their ranges are different but the way they can both put so much emotion into their singing and push their voices to breaking point is what makes me compare them.
Finntroll - Frsvinn Du Som Lyser

This is not from the best of Finntroll...

DJ Vortex - Incoming
Tdying up my room I found a load of old CD's, with this track being amongst the music found. Its ridiculously hard house, but shockingly good nonetheless. A real blast from the past for myself, and whilst it won't be to most peoples taste any fans of the hard house genre should give it a blast. Wicked, innit.

Masashi Hamauzu - People of the Far North (From the Final Fantasy X OST).
My favorite song on the entire OST, hands down. It's the song that plays at Mt. Gagazet. Go there and listen to it. It's beautiful.
My god, what a fucking brilliant album that is. I downloaded and listened to it yesterday. I second Howie's recommendation; metal fan or not, this is an album that should be heard (and appreciated) by all.Originally Posted by Howie
