pkt-zer0 got that hint... almost fully. But that was the detail I was talking about, but there is another, more obvious thing too...

It looks like some sort of gothic/negative Tetris clone. The similarities end there, because as pkt-zer0 stated, that VCR feature in the lower right corner is baffling. I have no guess really...

Still not right, even Borman's private guess isn't right.

The VCR buttons are there on replay mode (apparently the screenshot is taken while replay because the buttons are there). The other detail is what's around the playback buttons.

Tetris with replay function? Now that's something. Is it maybe Duo Tetris? That had wireframe graphics, but otherwise it is not very similar to the picture.
