    Default monster rancher (PAL) problem

Did anybody manage to get the monster rancher from the emuparadise bt server to work in epsxe? It seems that I and several other ppl have experienced epsxe (both 1.52 and 1.60) crashing on the screen that says "Sony entertainment group Europe". Plz help! I don't think my system specs have anything to do with it because it plays all other games w/out problems.

It is. It just doesn't work. I have it too. I downloaded NTSC version, haven't tested it yet, but people say that it works.

You mean the Monster Rancher on the torrent tracker is PAL format? dammit... Guess I don't need to finish downloading it (which isn't really a concern since I was stuck partway through anyway...) Now, to find myself an NTSC-U version.

No wonder you got stuck with that torrent. There is no point seeding a corrupt file.

Yeah, tell that to the people on the NTSC-U torrent. You'd think that if the other one was corrupt that they'd try and get/seed the working one, even if it is a different format (seeing as how a lot of the PSX games seem to be used with ePSXe). Yet the two seeders that were on on the U torrent ducked out like an hour after I started downloading, now all that's left are horde of 99%ers. It's funny watching G3 torrent count up my remaining time as it hangs. When it reached 99% for the first time, it said 2 minutes, now all the time it's stalled at 99% has pushed it up to 5 hours, lol. How can it calculate remaining time if there's no download speed to base it on? (just a note, I don't expect an answer, the comment is more rhetorical than anything)

I could still answer that It just counts the speed by dividing the amount of downloaded data by the time used. The time increases, so the speed drops, but never reaches 0, that way it thinks that it will finish eventually.

I didn't know there was a torrent for US version, I got it from Yousendit.
