    Aesop Rock - Labor

Jim would be proud. I'll swallow my pride and say this is pretty fucking good. That bassline is to die for, but that only makes 50% of the 2 Aesop songs I've listened to. I've also been listening to Outkast...

This and "The One Who Was Torn Apart" are the two best songs on this OST, hands down. I have to finish this damn game to day or tomorrow. Because of this need, I will not leave my PS2 except the perform the most necessary or of bodily functions, i.e. consume, expel wastes, maintain proper hygiene and rest. Should be either an insanely fun or mind-numbingly dull two days.
Get 'Shake the Heavens' off the Time & Space arrange album. It's a medley containing Omen, One Who Bares Fangs at God and Awakening, all rearranged.

    Angra - Spread Your Fire

The revitalised Angra set new standards with Temple of Shadows. This is how power metal should be.

Trust me, that's more for me than it is for Jim. I'm the HipHop fan around here. And it's a nice choice you have there. Aesop Rock is sick. Outkast is oke, I suppose.

Handsome Boy Modeling School - Modeling Sucks.
Samples from Beethoven and that old ass TV show. Good shit how it all came together on this one. Too bad it's only a minute long.

    Manowar - Thor(The Powerhead)

A song that I don't listen to often, but kicks incalculable ass. Obviously about the god of thunder. Once again, highly addictive heavy metal with a balls of steel. Seriously, now that I remember, this band got me into real metal years ago when I was stuck listening to Limp Bizkshit. Those of you who don't listen to metal(not many here) should start out with this band, no growls, so it's somewhat friendly for the average music listener.

    Thor! The mighty!
    Thor! The brave!
Crush the infidels in your way.
By your hammer let none be saved,
Live to die on that final day.

Metallica - ....And Justice For All (live)

I'm watching this on the Live Shit: Seattle '89 DVD at the moment. Brilliant performance, and I've always loved Lars' drum sound on this DVD. I'm also in awe of the amazing destruction scene at the end of this song... wow.

    Beyond the Embrace - Rapture

(Not the Morbid Angel song). This is excellent melodic death metal. This is the band that closest resembles In Flames that I know. In everything... riffs, solos, and melody style. Even the vocalist sounds a bit like Anders Friden, but he has a much more full voice. The main riff and chorus just kick ass.

Sakamoto Maaya - Dakishimete ~Click in my Heart~

Alright, it's almost pure pop, but I really do like pop, Japanese or (to a lesser degree) American.

    Aesop Rock - Daylight

I don't like this one nearly as much, but it's nice to have on in the background. Good driving disc I assume this would be...

    Outkast - Hey Ya

Let's face it, this was the greatest song of last year. Catchy and poppy as hell, music at its creamiest.

Jedi Mind Tricks - On The Eve of War (Meldrick Taylor mix)

Just beautiful. This is without a doubt my favourite rap song. Meaningful lyrics and great music... why oh why can't there be more artists like Vinnie Paz?

I think they're touring here sometime with Atreyu and Unearth. Lets hope ticket prices are reasonable...
