Trapt - Lost in a Portrait.

I don't fucking care if you've heard this on the radio. Stop giving a shit about what music people listen to and get a collection of your own instead. This song is awesomeness, squared.

Immortal - Blashyrkh (Mighty Ravendark)

Felt like listening to some oldschool Immortal. The interlude about 3 minutes into the song is pretty cool. The video... though awesome, is the goofiest shit I've ever seen.

Kristian Leontiou - It's OK

Now this is just a proper nice song. Fantastically easy to listen to, great melody and fantastic vocals. Very good, very good indeed.

Now that my XP is installed again, I'm downloading that Saddam's family thing.

EDIT: Now listening to: Saddam's family - Harulf the Warulf

Well, no comment yet. Sounds a little like System of a down.

Tribes of Cain - Step Forth

I like this track quite a lot, I really must get the full albums one of the days, not just because I can't find the other tracks but I'd like something a bit more tangible.

Manowar - Hand of Doom

My first Manowar song... Jesus, these dudes never get old on me. In fact, if I hear even part of a song I have to go on a Manowar rampage. Eric Adam's powerful voice... rifftastic traditional heaviness, and insane melodic solos... It's pure heavy metal with a heavy pair of balls!

Edit:

Manowar - Heart of Steel

A ballad that brings a tear to my eye. These mofos are the shit, period.

Can't say I've heard of them *hangs head in shame, I'm presuming that the description you have given they must be good.

Avulsed - Sick sick sex

not one of the songs I like more but I think it deserves a mention.

Jay-Z / Linkin Park - Collision Course
Numb/Encore

The album is really short (only six songs), but it sheds new life on some already sweet sounds, by Linkin Park that is. Jay-Z is okay, but LP I don't ever think I'll get tired of.

Agalloch - I Am The Wooden Doors and A Desolation Song

Two songs from "The Mantle" I won't ever get tired of. I recommend The Mantle to everyone, you'll probably like it once you get used to the vocals... (yes, there are clean vocals too).

Avulsed - Sick sick sex

It's alright, Manowar have always been an obscure band despite being around for 25 years. If you like Judas Priest or traditional heavy metal in general, one song should get you hooked on Manowar. Try "Call to Arms", "Dawn of Battle", and especially "Hail and Kill".

I too like that "Sick Sick Sex" song. Kind of funny how Dave growls: I want sex. At any cost!, and the grunt in the chorus... Sick sick sex... iiiiiyah... just hilarious.

Sepultura - Inner Self

Classic death/thrash, and for a long time, what most people associated death metal with. Just found out my bro has a tape with "Beneath the Remains" on it, as well as some Napalm Death songs. That was very surprising, knowing that my bro listened to Metallica mostly when he was young then he was swept by grunge rock...

Hahaha Oh my god.

Pink Floyd - Dogs

Animals is a kickass album, I'd ake DSOTM, Meddle and ofcourse Wish You Were Here over it, but the guitar work is fucking fantastic. I do wish there was more Gilmour vocals though...

I still have never listened to Pink Floyd... I think I may go and grab Dark Side of the Moon out of sheer curiousity.

Avulsed - Inner Self

Cover of that Sepultura song. This one is live, it's hilarious to hear Dave speaking calmly in Spanish before starting to growl his ass off. Avulsed are pretty good when playing live, up there with Cryptopsy's and Cannibal Corpse's live performances.

Edit: This live performance took place in a big festival in Spain, Avulsed being the only metal band there. Before playing, the vocalist told the crowd something like: "Es hora de dejarse de mariconadas." Cheers if you know what that means.

Wish You Were Here is t best, but DSOTM is great too. There are Pink Floyd songs you would have heard (Another Brick In The Wall Pt 2, Comfortably Numb, Money, Learning To Fly).

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Storm

I turn the speakers up and am in a complete state of awe the entire time, when I listen to them...

Eminem - My First Single.
Dude's lung capacity is insane and he shows it on this song. Funny as hell too.
