Kohei Tanaka - Requiem (Alundra OST)
I've never played this game, but I decided that it would be nice to hear the soundtrack anyway. PSF's run shit, man. If only for this song, I advise everyone here to download this archive. It's int eh damn site's Gaming Music section. Gogogo.

That last post almost made me cry Soeru. Load is one of the best albums ever, Mama Said kicks ass, I did it as one of my HSC performances last year.

Children Of Bodom - Trashed, Lost And Strungout

Once again, their best song, hope the new album will be as good, not out till september or some shit. Give me a yell when it gets leaked guys...

Children of Bodom - Silent Night, Bodom Night

Never really listen to "Hatebreeder" and "Follow the Reaper" much. Alexi Laiho is indeed a talented mofo. The keyboardist is indeed fast

That CoB song is one of my favorites. I too haven't listened to their old material very often(because I've been swept away by death metal for the past few months), but Hatebreeder and FtR were probably their best albums. I still haven't bothered with their new EP. Might've heard part of it, but I don't remember it well. It was definately not crappy, otherwise I would've remembered.

Sorry Slim, I just don't like country-rock. Their more blues-ish songs from Reload were okay, but I can't stand Load.

    Bathory - Father to Son

One of my favorite Bathory tracks. Not the best track on Hammerheart, but awesome indeed. Too bad the guitars are too loud to hear every word Quorthon sings. The chorus feels... powerful and sad. If you've never listened to Bathory before, go and get Hammerheart, especially if you like anything like Einherjer or Ensiferum.

Sweden should be proud of this mofo, may he rest in Valhalla.

It was just my XP that is messed up so badly that I can't do a shit with it. That's why I'm requesting that OOBE folder in the other thread.

    Forefather - Together They Stood

Anglo-Saxon metal... as the band claims. Pretty cool, the band is just two brothers, they don't have a real drummer yet but they have like 3 or 4 albums out. Not really like Bathory, but awesome in their own original way. I haven't heard any viking metal that sounds quite like them before...

    Edit:
Forefather - To the Mountains They Fled

Kick-ass. This one feels slightly like Vintersorg, but it's pretty fast, it almost feels like Euro powermetal, just not cheesy.

    Edit 2: Forefather - Fifeldor

Their best song, get Engla Tocyme now.

    Grave Digger - Rheingold

The riffage in this track is orgasmic. In fact, all of GD's riffs are pretty awesome and heavy as hell. Their choruses are a disaster though. Always out of place, boring and repetitive save for a few ones. Now, if they up the speed a notch, they'd undoubtedly fall under 'my favourite bands' list.

Yasunori Mitsuda - "The One Who Bares Fangs at God" (XenoGears OST)
This and "The One Who Was Torn Apart" are the two best songs on this OST, hands down. I have to finish this damn game to day or tomorrow. Because of this need, I will not leave my PS2 except the perform the most necessary or of bodily functions, i.e. consume, expel wastes, maintain proper hygiene and rest. Should be either an insanely fun or mind-numbingly dull two days.

    Running Wild - The War

From their newest. It's a 10 minutes long song, best on the CD along with Skull & Bones. Oh, and for those who didn't know; they play what they call "Pirate Metal" (even though it's very similar to Grave Digger, which Megalith just mentioned. Especially on vocals).

Handsome Boy Modeling School - Once Again ft. Brand Nubian.
Dan Nakamura and DJ Prince Paul teamed up for a joke CD. People really enjoyed it so they made a sequel. This song is one of the best beats on the two CD's and the rappers are old school with updated styles. Not bad, really.

And the name, in case you are wondering about it, was taken from an episode of an old ass TV show.

    Fightstar - Palahnuiks Laughter

This, believe it or not, is from the band that the twat with the eyebrows from Busted created. Having said that, Im genuinely impressed with this song. Its of a heavier sound than the shite Busted ran out, and as much as I hate everything to do with that band, this song has gone a little way to redeem against that. But not much.
    Touch my twat.
