Jethro Tull - Aqualung

Tull tickets are $115, fuck that. I would like to see them, but I also want to see Steven Wright, tDEP and Bright Eyes...

As I pointed out in teh Joke Thread, Steven Wright > You.

Blink 182 - Always
Their new song, I have become strangely addicted to. I blame it on being dumped, it lowers the tolerance of pop music threshold.

Yeah your right, but being down here in australia top metal bands don't exactly come down here everyday.

Arch Enemy - Demonic Science

My favourite Arch Enemy song, i love their original vocalist much more than their current one.
Trogdor, Trogdor

Trogdor was a man
Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
Uhm...but he was still

Trogdor, Trogdor

Burninating the countryside
Burninating the peasants
Buriniating all the people
in their Thatched Roof Cottages

Thatched Roof Cottages

And The Trogdor Comes in The Night.

Well, Slim saw Opeth in Sydney... You might get lucky. Indeed, their original vocalist was much better. Same goes for:

In Flames - Food For the Gods

Just woke up to this song. Joy. From "Whoracle", pretty thrashy.

Yeah Edgecrusher was at that gig also. And Arch Enemy can shove something splintery up their vocallist's cunt.

Orchid - Aesthetic Dialectic

Driving, maniacal, choppy, beautiful, spazzy, throat burning hardcore punk...

Slayer - Season in the Abyss

Not your normal Slayer song, but contains some of KK's best leads.

Avain - Punainen tiili

Borrowing my Hang Out thread here, the band is in English The Key, and the track is The red brick

If you don't understand this wonderful language of my country then you won't be getting anything from this one. For me this piece is ... makes me hate capitalistic world.

Lostprophets - Last Train Home.

Best song ever. No really.

Check my AudioScrobbler page. It's won me over, a little.

GodJonez is a commie. I too despise AE's vocalist, even Friden sounds better than her. Is it just me, or is it that almost every metal band with a female vocalist sucks to some degree?

Amon Amarth - Pursuit of Vikings

Joy. Has Amarth's trademark roaring vocals, and some really kick ass lyrics about (you guessed it) vikings. Melodic but crunchy, all these melodies with tremolo picking... though they're quite simple, sound awesome. Makes me want to listen to some Bathory right about now...

Metal + Females don't mix. I don't care if that's sexist.

The Fiery Furnaces - Here Comes The Summer

This band, on the other hand are fantastic, and have a female vocallist. Not metal ofcourse...

I wouldn't go as far as homosexuality... but yeah, harsh vocals and women don't mix...

Metallica - Mama Said

God this is awful. See, if I gave a crap about pop country or even country music, I'd listen to the later Metallica. But I don't. I'm going to delete Load as soon as my bro stops asking me to play songs from it.

Gamma Ray - The Heart of the Unicorn

Awesome. Kai Hansen pulls a Halford in this track, which isn't bad at all, but still inferior to Halford's screeches.
