I've just finished watching Hoshi no Koe (Voices of a Distant Star). Anime doesn't get any more modest than this. A 25 minute OVA (which is equivalent to one typical anime episode. So yes, in a sense, this anime is only one episode long), a one man project at that, with two humble voice actors (the director and his wife), yet look at all the magic under. Seriously, one man accomplished something more grand and epic in one episode, than a production company could ever hope for. Highly recommended.

Escaflowne. I watched an episode earlier this week, and I have the complete series coming in the mail. Also, although I'm not sure if it would count, Invader Zim. I don't really consider it anime, but some people have been listing it as anime in like... stores and whatnot, so I'll just say it and let the hardcores kill me.
Yeah. The only reason I put it down was because it was put out by MediaBlasters and Anime Works, so I figured it might be at least partially anime. The only reason I say that is because of the stereotypical head/body ratio, as well as overly large eyes and exagerrated expressions.
I heart Gir.
GunGrave is what im currently watching.
I'm STILL watching Rurouni Kenshin. There's a few episodes left on The "Tales of the Meiji" season I haven't watched.
I just finished up Fushigi Yuugi. I'll probably watch some Love Hina again until my anime downloads finish, then I'll check out Ah! My Godess TV.
I finished watching NGE end of evangelion and my head hurts. Didn't quite get the ending but guess I'll watch it a couple hundred times until i understand.
Was anyone else confused or still is confused by the ending?
Don't worry, when I first saw it I didn't understand everything of it, but I've watched again the whole series and I've also seen End of Evangelion 2 or 3 times now, so I think I get the idea (but I was younger when I first watched it, so...).Originally Posted by naruto-kun61789
As you have said, re-watching the movie (and/or the series) should solve the problem. Enjoy!
But please don't ask, because I saw it about a year ago and my head hurts too...
Why would you want to hear the English actors? They fail at life.
I disagree. David Lucas (spike spiegel) was wonderful in Cowboy bebopOriginally Posted by MaXim
