The Black Mages - Otherworld

The singing is so damn annoying...
The original version is way better.

Arsis - Close

Nice track one of the ones I listen to more regularly.

I really have been meaning to branch out far more then I have I've only really listened to a few more bands in the last few months.

Mokoma - Uni saa tulla

Maybe the best from Mokoma.
Oh, you can download all my music using DC++, if you are interested.

Edit: Howie, you bastard! Leeching from me already!

Howie is just now getting the whole Tmn maailman ruhtinaan hovi album by Mokoma. Maybe he will leech that piece next? It is good, BTW.

EDIT: Right now going on my Winamp is DJ Aligator - Lollipop (Darude vs. JS 16 remix)

Finntroll - Svartberg

Having a Finntroll-marathon now. Why? Because it's the best band ever, dammit. This song is from their first album, Midnattens Widunder if anyone was wondering...

U2 - Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me

Id genuinely forgotten quite how good a song this was until yesterday. I dont particularly like U2 but this song just happens to be absolutely superb.

Are you looking for more bands like Arsis or just metal bands in general? My weekly suggestions should keep you entertained. Vehemence is slightly like Arsis. I'm sure you already listen to and like At the Gates and The Black Dahlia Murder, just felt like mentioning them. Other bands I'm randomly throwing at you: Morbid Angel(might be too noisy for you right now), Behemoth, Intestine Baalism, Dismember, The Crown(a lot like Arsis), Nightrage(new band with AtG's vocalist), Disarmonia Mundi(new band with Soilwork's vox), Exodus, Sodom, bla bla bla...

Intestine Baalism - Banquet in the Darkness

Good lord, when I hear this song I instantly think of "Misanthropic" by Dismember, which makes it incalculably cool... but, this song is even better! Bit like At the Gates you could say, but it's not a clone by far. It's pure untampered death metal with melody, it doesn't have any pop influences like AtG's later material.

I think I may just tab this song, I already know they're in C like most melo death bands.

Edit: Get this song from my sig, bitches!

Slinkee Minx - Summer Rain (2004 Dance Mix)

I blame The Watcher for this. He recommended it, and now I cant stop bloody listening to it, as cheesily addictive as it is. Bastard!

Damn, this is actually good. Howie was right...

Finnish music is just the best.

I think "Tmn maan ruhtinaan hovi" is better song from Mokoma that "Uni saa tulla"

But all have his/her own thinks

Both are good... which one is better depends on my mood. When I'm sleepy, Uni saa tulla is way better... you know why if you understand Finnish

Manticora - Creator of Failure

Manticora is my new favourite band. They're just too darn awesome. They do power metal at most, but at times go totally thrash. Fucking brilliant. Killer riffage and none of those cheese filled happy-go-round choruses, which is a huge plus.

You rarely find a good power metal band, minus the annoying layer of cheese.
