Slayer - Reign In Blood

Been a while since I've listened to this classic... Angel Of Death is currently thrashing in my "big" computer-speakers as I can't find my disc. Yay.

Toy Soldiers by Eminem

I used to like the original version when i was a young lad. This is his second best song after Stan

Listen to the original by Iron Maiden. Replacing Dickinson with Dani Filth is a sin.

Isengard - Nestlepak

Goblins from middle earth on the loose! I heart the vocals this guy does.

This is what I call a good post.

And legend, take Megalith's advice.

Low - Just Stand Back

Beautiful stuff here, apparently this album's a big change from their sound, so I'll have to delve...

The Mars Volta-'televators'

i still become amazed at how this band can do so so many complex, long songs and keep them tighter that a knot. craziness.

I'm listening to the Metal Gear Solid 3 main theme. God, it's so badass. I love the part where it goes to acoustic guitar, then picks up to being fully orchestrated.

While not really a track this is the 13th track from the out of this world 2 sega cd iso

I think that the music in out of this world was really good It was very original and atmospheric.

Don't know if this counts, but I thought it deserved a mention.

A mortal sin.

Iron Maiden - Die With Your Boots On

Fuck yeah. A classic, I just love war-related lyrics. I need to get some more NWOBHM like Tankard and shiz.

Divine Inspiration - The Way (Put your hand in my hand)

Has anyone here even heard this besides me? Whatever, I like this piece. It's so joyful.
Have you seen me before?

They butchered that song... as well as Hell Awaits (Slayer) and some song of Bathory (can't remember which, it was on their newest album; "Vampires, Blood 'n Suicide Vol. 4" (or something like that). Dani Filth is a homo.

Listening to through "The Astral Sleep" by Tiamat. Strange mix of Death Metal with some acoustic-guitar in between.

Tankard ain't NWOBHM, they're thrash...

They also did a crappy Mayhem cover... thinking they're so kvlt and BM. Either Dani Filth was neutered before puberty or he uses pitch-shifting and distorted vocal effects. Well, everyone knows he uses pitch-shifting effects, but I still think he's ball-less.

I meant Tank, not Tankard.

Storm - Nagellstev

A little folk song. Just the guy singing to a simple bassdrum beat, no guitars, but this is very nice, beats rap anyday. Is this a real Norwegian folk song, Howie? I think you told me once that "Oppi Fjellet" was the only Storm song that wasn't a folk cover.
