I talked to someone I thought didn't really want to talk to me, we had some really nice conversation, and I feel all warm and nice inside.

Made 500 posts, though I must say the topic for my 500th post could have been far better.

I finally got an e-mail from the eBay seller. I'll be expecting the game to arrive at my house soon . It even gave me an automated positive feedback for the transaction A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+.

My friend let me borrow his credit card & I have the cash to reimburse him.

I found a 20$ bill on the ground earlier this night! I'm going to buy some liquor when the store opens.

The torrent I've been downloading for two days finally jumped up from 2k to 70+. I found out that raising your upload speed really does make a difference.

How fast Internet connection you have? My 512 kbps has given me 60 kB/s at best (theoretical maximum almost)

Well, it depends. I've downloaded torrents at almost 200kbps before. This one's download speed seemed to be dependant on your upload speed, which isn't something I've ever come across before. I was downloading several torrents, so the upload speed for that particular torrent was capped at around 11kbps, and I was only downloading at around 2 or 3kbps. I paused the other uploads, and changed the upload to 40kbps, and now it's downloading at speeds between 70 and 80kbps. It was going to take about 1.5 weeks to download, and now it's only gonna take around four days.

The site I got the torrent from suggested that your uploads might effect your downloads, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad it works.

How right you are. It should be 1 Mbps already, but Finnish ISPs...

Not normally, no. Just on this torrent. I usually get great speeds on most of my torrents. This is the first one I've downloaded that set my download dependant on my upload rate, and it caught me off guard. I'm just happy it's all sorted out now. At this rate, the torrent should finish downloading before I get my new computer.
