Disgusted with the run-of-the-mill fantasy genre, I gave high fantasy a try and am liking it very much. George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series is a great read. It's got a plethora of characters and political intrigue. It isn't your typical "quest" fantasy series. I recommend it if you're tired of generic fantasy authors (read: Brooks, Jordan, & etc).
Will do. ^_^
I'm almost done reading that Marilyn Manson biography, I've gotten about half way through Interview with the Vampire, I finished 1984 and I still haven't started reading The Monster Dogs (which I got... seven months ago?). And Zephyr's apparently read American Gods, which makes him a god among men. As if he wasn't already.
