Green Day - My Generation
Yea, Green Day is ALMOST The Who. Except, not. Way to fail.
Green Day - My Generation
Yea, Green Day is ALMOST The Who. Except, not. Way to fail.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...
twothirtyeight- "tales from your nightstand"
once again, a slow soft song that kicks in to one of the greatest sounds ever. and lyrics are good too.

A suped up and improved version of the Mayhem classic. I frequently associate Mayhem with this song. It really... really makes me feel depressed, especially due to the weather and gloomyness outside. Damn, Mayhem sure knew how to get people to commit suicide.![]()
The Streets - Blinded By Lights
I dont know why, but this is a really nice song. Well, the lyrics and underlying theme arent nice. And the females vocals are quite haunting. But nice nonetheless. So listen to it, and all that.

Ma'aya Sakamoto - Birds
I haven't quite figured out why I like this song so much. Rather, this, Bitter Sweet, and Doreddo 39 right now...
The Streets... saw that on TV, sounds interesting, I may check that UK-Eminem clone dude out.
Nuclear Assault - Brain Death
If you like Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, etc., this band will completely own you. I still haven't listened to much more than their first album, but damn, they kick ass. This song is pretty long, with some slow parts, very thrashy parts, and about a minute-long acoustic intro, awesome.
Edit: Nuclear Assault - Stranded in Hell
Fuck, that's it. Every metal fan reading this: get the album "Game Over", now. Go on.![]()

Not at all. I dont particularly like Mike Skinner, but I would never, ever refer to him as an Eminem clone, at all. A bit of a sweeping generalisation there, and one that I feel is pretty unfair.Originally Posted by Soeru

Yes it is the Slim you all know and love. He is insane on the guitar. If he ever releases a CD filled with music recorded at a low quality, I advise you all to buy it or wait for me to beat you into submission with it.
Alright, so now I can be sure that was a compliment you paid me earlier. For a second there I thought you'd found something by the band where I stole the name JWP from. Who I've never heard.
Fiery Furnaces - Smelling Cigarettes
I adore the vocallist, this band owns the lease to my soul right now...
I'm just making that comparison since I haven't listened to The Streets much...Originally Posted by Clive

Starts off with a little medieval-ish bass solo, then you get this nifty thrashy song. The singing sounds a bit like that of Sodom, just not as death-ish. Damn... I love thrash...
