Well I just found out that Hugh Jackman has finally agreed to sign on for X3 as well as a standalone Wolverine movie!!!!!(he's gonna be a Producer too)

From what I was able to gather they may bring back Jean as Dark Pheonix or just let the matter lie for now. It seems most of the previous cast will sign back on too.

Bryan Singer won't be directing again though since he's working on Superman returns.

I think this is stellar news, considering I'm such an X-nut!!!!

Excellent. Hopefully they'll manage to bring Jean as the Dark Phoenix into play somepoint in the future, it'd be awesome to see that happen. Maybe bring her back at the end of the movie and leave it on a cliffhanger for a fourth installment. Any news on possible directors? I've heard that Joss Whedon may be in the running, but nothing concrete so far...

Something funny in the x-men movies (in french), professor X always says Volverine and not Wolverine, what a crappy translation...

Also, anyone knows if they still play the animated x-men episodes somewhere? I was watching them before going to school on the morning, but they stopped playing and got replaced by this "Fairly odd parents" cartoon.

The screenplay director that appears in the credits of the first movie is David Hayter. Is this the same David Hayter that does the English voice-overs for Solid Snake in MGS and MGS2?! This has been haunting me to this day.

I hated the comic series but the movies were well done, I HATED NIGHTCRAWLER!!! although wolverine was so flippin cool in those movies...Did anyone ever play the old snes games of x-men?

Yep, its the same guy. David "Solid Snake" Hayter co-wrote the screenplays for X-Men 1 and 2.
