Asmegin - Hin Vordende Sog Og So [Full Album]
Excellent viking metal from Norway. The violins (none of that synth shit, this is for real) sound surprisingly good under the guitar distortions.

MINMI - Who's Theme.
I'm so in love with her. Her voice is so sexy and mellow it's erotic.
*Edit: REPEAT!

Okay, DJ Aligator - Interlude - Human beatbox. Just loaded my "Top rated" automatic album in Winamp and this 5 star thing was chosen by random. If you haven't heard this, give it a try. It's ... original.

Have you seen me before?
Excellent choice, sir. You wrote the title wrong though, the title is "Hin Vordende Sod Og S" (whatever fuck that means, must be some shit in "old-norwegian"). And it's smegin.Originally Posted by Megalith

I saw the DVD-version in stores today. Fuck me for buying without the bonus-DVD... meh. This is an excellent album, second best in 2004 (Nattfdd at the top) in my opinion. La Brie, Lucassen, kerfelft, Townsend, Baker and the Elfona-chick (can't remember her name, Bovio-somethingsomething?) contributes with their voices in this excellent album. Orgasm.
Currently I am listening to:
Zao - Truly, Truly, This Is The End
Zao is a very good band. Its heavy metal, yet its Christian. Interesting combination. They dont even sound like it. www.zaoonline.com to listen to a few songs from the new album. Its their official website so the songs are legal.
Zao... I thought that was more of a hardcore band. I heard one of their songs in Flash Flash Revolution and it sounded nice. I hope you don't think all metal is about devil worshipping because 80% of it is not.P.O.D. are a Christian nu metal band, but they pretty much suck. Extol is pretty cool though, melodic death metal with religious lyrics, and Tierra Santa is an awesome power metal band(bit like Dark Moor, also Spanish) with occasional religious references.
Quorthon - Outta Space
Pretty cool grunge from the man that pioneered the first wave of black metal, and pretty much invented the whole Viking metal sound. Even though he only has 2 albums with this kind of music, it's pretty interesting to see him experimenting with completely different kinds of music.
What makes this album so cool is that it makes a lot of other grunge sound like crap, on top of that: he plays all the instruments. Fans of Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Audioslave, etc. will love this.

Powerful 80s metal at its best. Now to go and get more of their albums.![]()
Bloc Party - Helicopter
Sheer, unadultered awesomeness. Go, listen to it now. You'll thank me, you really will.
Touch my twat.
Vader - Vicious Circle
This song is a total turn on for any DM fans![]()
Jon Hopkins - Opalescent
Very smooth chilled out album, this. Nice for my painful head it is, and no mistake.
Soothing.
Touch my twat.
Vader is indeed awesome, but for some reason the only 2 songs that I really like from them are their Morbid Angel cover and "Decapitated Saints". I dunno, maybe cuz I haven't given all their albums a listen.
Amorphis - Into Hiding
Progressive doom/death stuff, melodic, and Swedish. Not the best song on the album("Tales of a Thousand Lakes", their best), but it's alright. Their music isn't all that technical or complex, but these mofos sure know how to make entrancing stuff with fancy little melodies. In a way, kind of like Nile, just not as heavy.
Their song "The Castaway" gives you that Nile-ish Egyptian feel, awesome.
