Exhumed are by far the coolest goregrind band ever. That song feels a bit black metal-ish because of the mix obtained with the riffs and blastbeats. You should listen the grind/DM-era of Napalm Death more often, less gore.

Napalm Death - Nazi Punks Fuck Off!

One of their more punky songs. Any fan of real punk will absolutely love the old Napalm Death. Political-based thrashy punk, played with the sweet abrasiveness of what is now called death metal. Ownage. In fact, the band is going to play in my hometown, a tiny ass city(part of Spain) in a tiny ass island off the coast of Africa. Like... the only really well-known people that performed there were Michael Jackson and The Ramones in the 80's. My bro saw the Ramones' show. Bunch of skateboard stars too, but they don't count.

    Meshuggah - I

I just decided to put it on. I found it lying around on my HD some time ago, opened it, and died. My very fav part that makes me shit myself is the part from 3:00 to 3:50, I think. Trhe rest is good, too.

At the moment I'm listening to My Immortal by Evanescence. It's off the Fallen CD.

It's really slow... but I like slow songs. I like how it transitions from the verse to the chorus. I have to say this song rocks.

Pearl Jam - Even Flow(one of the 1024593968 different live versions)

If there is a definition for an original band, then it should be replaced with the words "Pearl Jam". Grunge? Fuck no, it's more than that. They can take any song that people have listened to for nearly 10 years and still make it sound new. How? Completely different solos, extra non-existant passages, bridges to parts from other songs, and complete improvisation(lyrics, intrumentals, singing, everything.) They pull shit like this out of their asses and come up with a completely different song at concerts! No band plays like this... so far.

PJ are the only non-heavy band that I listen to nowadays. Pretty much the only one I'll need too. So yeah, my musical listenings are mostly made up of metal, Pearl Jam, and electronic stuff. Go me.

Yes Pearl Jam are indeed awesome, if only their songwriting was still what it used to be...

EDIT: Oh, and I'm listening to Metallica - One at the moment...

    Royce 5'9" - Something's Wrong With Him (ft. 6July)

    *Quote:
I was told 'Rhyme from the heart and they will feel you'/
I like the dark, if you turn on those lights I will kill you/"

Needless to say, this song is written in the Dark Royce style.

Their songwriting isn't grungy anymore, but I think that's sort of a good thing for the oldschool PJ fans. They've grown up with the fans, now they make music that you can drive your car around with, rather than make you want to pull on some flannel and jot down journal entries.

    Something by Type O Negative.

It's good... I just don't like goth metal this sludgy. I prefer the more happy(though sad) goth metal/rock with female and male singing, like Beseech or Darkseed. Damn... I forgot about Darkseed...

I am now madly in love with you. I hardly ever put in this thread that I'm listening to Pearl Jam, because, well, I'd be posting all day. And I have no idea how they get called grunge, save for their timing.

Pearl Jam - Breathe at the moment.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

Some songs off Ten and Vs were grungy as hell. Animal, Go, Even Flow, Porch, Glorified G and shit.

Pearl Jam - I Got ID

My now favourite PJ song, form the merkinball EP...

I'll give you some of those, maybe, (and by the way, I think Porch is savagely under rated), I guess. I don't know what to say. I just don't think they sound remotely like the other grunge bands. But, that's probably somewhat biased, and opinion based.

I Got ID fucking owns, as well.

    Pearl Jam - Wishlist
Pearl Jam - Given To Fly

Now I'm going to be up all night listening to Pearl Jam. Not a bad thing

    Canibus - Freestyle with Jurassic5.
His name means Can-I-Bus, not weed. And he is seriously the most intelligent rapper ever.

    Vreid - Raped By Light

Windir "reborn". I like it, but Windir is a lot better. Heidra Valfar!
