There isn't anything wrong with your mem card, it is just an incomplete game. Actually, it is unfinishable, as later levels have errors that crash the game.
Thanks for the answer Sprung. Looks like I better put away the game and finish downloading Shenmue disc 1 (which I'm getting like 2kb/s off emule). Man I love my dreamcast now I got games working on it. It was my DVD burner the whole time. I wasted so many disc try and I PM'd you, Sprung, about 15 times over it.

Can you use the ps2 fliptop and a gameshark, codebreaker, or actionreplay to play burned ps2 games or do you need swap magic

There might be a way. If you use your fliptop instead of a slide card or whatever you use for the knife trick you might get this to work http://www.geocities.com/raibee/knife.html but I'm don't really know.

Why don't you just buy a SM disc? They are just 15 dollars or something.

I'm having some problems burning my PS1 ISOs. Some ISOs burn perfectly fine, but others don't.

Sometimes on the back of the CD I burn, there will be THREE rings instead of the normal two (like the ring of information that was burned and an additional ring for leftover space). But now there is an additional ring close to the center that looks even more concentrated, and when I try to play them, the cinematics are extremely choppy and often the sound is as well.

Does anyone know what's wrong? I thought my burner, though other ISOs work perfectly... the CUE files maybe? Please help, I've wasted so many CDs... Thanks!

Assuming you are using PCSX2, you should wait till the "Sony Entertainment" screen appears. It also requires EXCELLENT hardware to RUN it.

It is unsuitable for usage for PS2 games yet as it is heavily under devlopment.

Also, try burning them as slowly as possible.

    Default Help with sega cd's

Hi! I'm sorry to bother you all but I have a problem and I can't solve it unless you help me, please.

I'm trying to download Sega genesis CD games but I'm having poblems doing it, The first one is a problem with the DAP, When I try to download the file using Mozilla firefox (my web browser) I can download the files with no problem, but in the page says "You must use a download manager such as DAP or Go!Zilla to download these files, or they won't work!" so I never finished a download because It's supossed it won't work.

OK, here is the problem, when I try to download the files with the DAP (using internet explorer) It keeps telling me there's an error and the file is unaviable to download.

Could you please tell me how to do it? If I download it with firefox it won't work, right?

Other question, this are supposed to be Sega Iso, right? so this mean I'm suposed to burn them on cd, am I correct? and, if these are Iso's, then why appears to download 2 files? one called "File 01" and other called "sound file"?

And the last question, If I've got to burn the files onto a CD, is there a particular way to record them? at a certain speed or something like that?

Once again thanks and sorry to bother you all, If anyone of you could take a minute to answer me these things I'd be forever grateful, I've got no one else to ask.

    Thank you!

    From Argentina
    Emanuel

Default Soul Calibur problem mame32 - missing file "soc1vera.11s"

    Soul Calibur problem mame32
Downloaded rom from this site in the "Namco System 12" section
Ok the files within the zip had to be renamed (nothing unusual here)
When I try to load the game it all goes fine no unexpected end of file errors on the files I have renamed (indicating im on a winner)
But I seem to be missing a file "soc1vera.11s"
I searched google can find the full filelist - and it is missing
it is actually a small file but i cannot find a download link.
    Can anyone help with this

For future reference... I solved my own problem.

Using the presets in Alcohol 120, the Playstation preset uses RAW DAO as default. This was the problem. I changed the default to DAO/SAO and started using it for burning, now the CDs work perfectly.
