From what I heard streaming is more reliable. It is very picky on burnt media even with the hack. With the streaming you just have to have PSO and a broadband adapter, and it is improved more. It would also be cheaper, because you would have to buy a chip and blank mini-DVDs to play burnt games unless you want to use regular sized DVDs AFTER you pretty much take the whole thing apart. I would prefer streaming that the only costs are the BB adapter PSO, and enough CAT5 cable to reach your computer.
a pso? i never heard about it but i think ill use that way

There's Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2, which is the one you'll want to use for streaming. Then there's Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2+ which apparently doesn't work, and last but not least, Phantasy Star Online 3, which definitely doesn't work for streaming.
then i can use wichever of those first two,how do i distinguish the normal ones from the + ones? does it work with every game that i will download?,sorry if there are to many questions but i surely want to get into this, i have been looking for the broadband adapter but i cant find it, when i get everything needed how do i get it to work?

You can play your isos (.gcm renamed to .iso and burned using nero to dvd) on your NGC if you have a ViperGC (programming module... modchip) with the Cobra 0.2 bios flashed onto it. It boots up, requires a swap and you can boot dvd-r. There are issues though such as disc de-sync (then the game crashes) and not proper sound streaming on about 4-12 really early titles)Originally Posted by Valholy
I still prefer PSO/BBA method as it doesn't require modification to your gamecube and doesn't void warranty.
Emuparadise.org - Been with you since late 2000 and still going strong!
the PSO/BBA method doesnt need any modding in my cube to work right? if i do it will it work?
