    Default Emulation :)

    Can someone point me to some links that talk about what emulation is in detail and how it works and how someone who knows C/C++ or whatever language they use would code it (this is out of curiosity )

    Thanks.

    (third time trying to post)

    I tried putting this in emulation and it didn't work.

    If ya wanna make your own emulator and such you have to learn a programming language like Java or C++ wich is very hard to learn.
    But maybe this one
    That link contains tech emulator stuff.

    Dont be silly... HTML. is Easy very easy, Java or C++ on the other hand have thousands of classes, and comands that you can pull in to your project.

    Sure,It can be done, it just takes time.

    I think the message of the post was lost somewhere along the lines... and it goes something like this...

    Don't Compare Java/C++ to HTML.

    It goes something like this (very shortly explained):
    The consoles have those microchips, which do things (electronically, when it gets signals, it will give some other signal). The emulators are programmed so that when the rom sends a signal, the emu program does the same thing that the actual console would do if it had the signal and do the same action then. But if it were to send data to TV the emu would have programmed so that it sends the data to monitor (you got the idea, like keyboard ~ gamepad).

    Summary: The emulator just reads the rom file and does the things software that the electronical components on the console would do...
    Have you seen me before?

    About the PS2, buy some compressed air, and spray it inside the PS2 where the lens is. Whammo, fix't.
