    Cool SNES Controller

Hey peeps, i just ordered me a snes controller and usb converter. Do many people here use these things? Do they work well (ie what emulators support them and how well)? Maybe i should have posted this before i ordered but what the hell

I think the only thing close to that is the 1:1 ratio rule, you can't really "force" anyone to stay on I;m afraid.

I've heard good things about these, technically they should work as well as a pc controller, it really depends on the emulator mapping config, most of them are good enough anyway. Just a matter of configuring your controller with the emulator.

yea, I have a usb converter that I use for my Playstation controller and it works for all my emulators, so you shouldn't have a problem either.

Thanx SlasherMan/TheotheImpaler. I just dwnld the snes goodsets, so now im going to wait by my front door until the postman arrives. Would i be right in thinking that i can use the controller in any emulator (like Gens for instance, or NESten)?

Yeah, it should work just fine. Your computer will just treat it as a USB device, so you'll be able to use it with just about anything that allows you to use a PC joypad.

Plez help!!! I downloaded magaman x5 part 1 and 2 from this website but the files are too small. It's supposed to be 50MB each. Is there a problem with my computer or the website. I download the other parts of megaman X5, and they're the right size and now I only need the first two files.

I've downloaded from both the torrent and straight from the site (I realize they are the same thing, just making sure someone didn't miss something). The image has loads of errors. It burns just fine with Alcohol and CCD (Which I utterly hate), as of course it's not going to be doing any error checking on the image itself when it's burning.

I also mounted it to a virtual drive and went through the process of making a new image from it, to see what was up. I told it to skip errors so it wouldn't stop, and here's the important section of the log.

    Download Links:
Links are hidden from guests. Please register to be able to view these links. Obviously there's something wrong with the image. When I try to use a burnt copy in my PSX it will run the bios and the black logo screen which generally signifies that a game has successfully loaded. However after that, the disc stops and then starts again for a little while, and I can hear the eye moving back and forth along the track searching for information to move forward with, but it eventually does not find it and just stops.

I'm wondering if anyone's made a fix of this or if there's another copy I could grab somewhere.

    Thanks in advance.

Also, these forums are quite the suck. You should switch to something more reliable.

Lame Isn't too shabby, its a plug-in for winamp. that is installed into winamp, you can select it from the output and select the bit rate and a few other things, then just select the tune you want converted, just make sure you don't have winamp looping or you get a lot of tunes.

This is a output plug-in based on lame
