Rage - XIII (Full album)

I usually don't like Power Metal with orchestras (Once, anyone?), but Rage's 3 albums with orchestraes is awesome. XIII is one of them. The vocals are a bit strange though, but they fit. Much like Grave Digger (Chris Bolthendal).

Intestine Baalism - A Curse of Baal

Another great melo death band from japan. Kinda hard to hear what the guy is saying. I have to say the intro is awesome. Awesomeness at 1:59. Gotta stop saying awesome

Cannibal Corpse - Mutation of the Cadaver

Hey, this song ain't so bad. Kind of catchy to an extent. I think Gore Obsessed may become my favorite CC album, but I need to thoroughly listen to it as well as the others before I decide.

I must check these Japanese metal bands out. I listened to a traditional heavy metal band from Japan some time ago and it sucked.

    Metallica - Fade to Black

Good 'ole Metallica. This is the best Metallica has ever offered. Lyrically and musically. I wish they go back to their former godliness.

Japan has a shitload of good melodeath bands. Check out Blood Stain Child, great stuff. Reminds me of Skymning.

    Tankard - Mindwild

Superb. Tankard doesn't have one album I dislike (B-Day is a bit boring though). DIE WITH A BEER IN YOUR HAND!

    Collective Soul - Over Tokyo

Not their best, but I am listening to their discography on a random playlist and this is what happens to be playing at the moment. A realy good band are these, the sort where you can find at least one thing to like about each and every one of their songs. Splendid, I say.

Dude, what is up with all these Japanese metal bands? I didn't know the land of the rising sun had such a big metal scene. I'm dying to download Intestine Baalism's stuff as well as the other bands you've mentioned, FZ.

    Dark Tranquillity - Razorfever

w00t! One of my favorite DT songs. The purest and oldest melodic DM band ever. I really like the passage-riffs in this track, some of them are reminiscent of power metal. But the band is pure melo death, so don't be fooled. The song's lead/melody is awesome, and Mikael Stanne really puts his diaphragm into every song. It's a shame that they don't preform so well live. Well, since Mikael moves around a lot I guess that explains it.

Their songs are really entrancing(especially their slower tracks), so if you listen to bands like In Flames and haven't listened to DT yet, get your ass up and grab their Enter Suicidal Angels EP, 3 of their best songs and one (lame) techno remix of another... Just so you can get a sample of this band if you don't know crap about them.

Their newer stuff kicks ass too, but their old stuff didn't have so many synth/keyboard effects, so it's a bit heavier.

Ya know, everytime you refer to Frozen Sky as "FZ" I look around to see if I posted anything recently. So...knock it off.

Also Soeru, try out Ho-Chi-Manh...more asian metal right there.

Crap, I meant FS as in Frozen Sky. Ho-Chi-Manh, sounds good.

    Morbid Angel - Desolate Ways

It's a very surprising track. You'd think this song would be all fast and brutal and stuff, but it's not. It's a beutiful acoustic instrumental, played with one guitar alone. It's so damned cool, I just had to go and grab the guitar tab for this song. *learns it*
