It was a slow week for me.
Yay for you. What did you think of the Gaiman/Pratchett books? Croup and Vandemar have to be the most amazing bad guys ever.

You're going mad, man. Power crazy.

I've finished reading American Gods, which was extremely good all through. Now working on getting through Stanislaw Lem's Solaris and what'shisname's Heart of Darkness.

    Monstrous Regiment, by Terry Pratchett.

I also flipped through a book I bought for my mother's birthday (The Path to Tranquility, His Holiness the Dalai Lama; she's Mahayana Buddhist), and another I bought for my friend on Christmas (When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?, George Carlin; he's a fan of his humor style), but I didn't really read them.

Jerzy Kosinski's Being There has been thoroughly razed and enjoyed. Started on Stupid White Men by Michael Moore just now. Reading them both as an assignment from my English teacher. Splendid.

Soon (when I can be arsed, at any rate) Im going to get a copy of the Shining, as its supposed to be somewhat better than the film. Which would make it just about the best thing ever in the world, ever.

So far, Stupid White Men has been quite depressive. I'm a sad little intellectual, I am.

Phew, I was kinda worried to see him with such a high post count.

On a side note, I just finished to read an Office XP Net guide, and a gba sp instruction booklet.

I just finished reading the California Drivers Handbook 2004. The first one with the Governor's Message by Ah-nold. Other than keeping it for a "hardcore collector's item" because it's the first one published with a governor for an actor (sic), I'm studying it for a permit.
