Default A less boring meteor shower... tommorow, Dec. 13th.

An anonymous reader writes "physorg.com is carrying a story on the upcoming Geminid meteor shower, which will peak on December 13th. This is usually a high-rate meteor shower, and this year will be no different. The early morning hours are the best time to see them. Space.com is also reporting on the shower. This shower was also covered by Slashdot in 2003, 2002, and 2001."

    Also read this.

Hopefully I'll remember to see this one next morning. Yay.

Damn it, why does cool stuff like this always happen when I don't have the time to see it? Stupid 7:50 AM finals....

I'm upset because I'm in the center of not one, but two urban metropolises that grew together, which means, even if the skies are clear, I'm lucky to find Polaris or Alpha Centauri.

Oh, and extra points to whomever figures out the fallacy in that.
