I have a problem with Final Fantasy VII playing on ePSXe. After reaching a certain point in the game (the Keystone in Gold Saucer), the game just shuts down, and a message "Opcode 15 UNK(PC 00000080)(3085185,184)" will appear. Has anyone of you experienced something like this? And...can it be fixed somehow?

Looks like a bug.
You play it by ISO or you're using a CDrom??
What plugins are you using??

Yeah. There's apparently something wrong with Emuparadise's ISO... Let's see...

i'm currently using azureus to download torrents, i keep getting the following error message:
dbconn: mysql_connect: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

i also see there are over 30 seeders in swarm, and 500 peers in swarm,
but i'm not connected to any of 'em.

should i try changing program?
are there any other applications that might work better than azureus?

Yeah. Look in your video plugin configuration, there should be a frame rate limit thing somewhere. Activate it and set it to automatic, or if it doesn't have that, 60 FPS should be fine.

How do you mean? You can save using save states at any time, like in most other emulators. You need to specify memory card files (that don't have to be anything special, a blank file with the right file extension will do) in the memory card configuration to be able to save your game like you would while playing it on a PSX, though.

Video options, once again! I'm going to assume you're using one of Pete's plugins, which you should be doing in any case. In the configuration windows of those, you can select whether to run the games windowed or in full screen. Just make sure you click the right radio button. ^_^
