    Too damned true...

Just woke up, and I feel confident about my test today. Even though I'll most likely fail it, I feel like I'm going to kick ass.

It's Wednesday, not too far from X-mas vacation. Yay, not for the holiday, but for the days off. I stopped caring for this holiday a long time ago.

I've passed thru Mawaru Made in Wario, now i'm doing the monkey games, i did up to 405, which is prolly sick because my left thumb hurts like hell.
That was very intense to say the least. The hardest minigame is prolly the pepsi bottle, where you need to shake it like a mad to make it explode.

    *Ahem*
IgotitIgotitIgotitIgotit! Someone finally called me back and said that I was hired! Goodbye, over a year of unemployment and poverty, hello, income taxes and IRS audits!
    ...
Alright, momentary burst of annoyingly hyper behavior aside, I got hired by a small academic group that works on one of eight regional educational databases across the nation. Basically, I get to check school websites and write abstracts on what kind of information can be obtained, serve as a tech support filter (Take care of the easy stuff, direct the tough stuff to my superiors), update the organization's website and database as needed, and occasionally some work in Excel doing...something. 20 hours a week on top of 20 hours of classes per week, but homework wasn't a problem even before, and the money will be very useful for Christmas, so I'm very glad about it.

Granted, they still need to check my student ID number to confirm I'm eligible for on-campus employment (I should be, I have the prerequisite amount of credits), and want to see if I'm on an optional work-study program for the "financially impaired" (No, I'm not on it; my parents' income raised the bar too high), but I'm now optimistic about it...on the other hand, you all can now watch as reality sets in like a 10-ton weight on a butterfly, and he calls me back to say, "I'm sorry, but we need someone on Work-Study for this job...like all the others."
