    Recomendations on buying a computer?

I was wondering if anyone could help me by giving me some recomendations on a cheap pc. I want a pc that can play any of the newer games out there. Ive been looking at places like dell.com and stuff, but those guys are very expensive! So any of you have any suggestions on a cheap pc?

What's the filesize of the iso.
If it's very small you're dealing with a rip. A rip always have a filesize of 20-50 mb. A rip never has music and such, only the play files.
If the filesize is normal, something like 200-600 mb you should try some other sound plugins

My ETrust Antivirus program detected the Win32.inpect virus on the Ergheiz game and the Chronos Trigger Brink of Time OST, so they are automatically deleted. I know Norton or any Symantec program and McAffee won't detect this, but is any one else having this problem?

I believe any Virus that is detected by a 2nd rate (no offense) AntiVirus would be suspect if the 1st rate ones let it pass.

Meaning: If the top of the line Antivirus (Norton/Symantec) didn't have a problem with the files, I wouldn't put too much faith in one from ETrust...

I need some help with the FF7 ISO please. I downloaded FF7 from this site. I downloaded each one and then ran WinRAR to extract the patches. When extracted, 2 files came up: FINALFANTASY7.mdf and FINALFANTASY7.mds. These files can't be used as an ISO because they are MDS and MDF files. Am I supposed to change one/both of the files? Or was the ISO I downloaded just a bad files? Or was it I didn't extract it right? Please help, since I'm new to ISO.

If you use daemon tools and mount the mds file into the daemon tools virtual drive, then select ePSXe (I'm presuming that's what you're using) then select config in ePSXe then go to cd rom. and select the daemon tools drive( most probably E drive and then select run dc-rom.

.mds and .mdf are ISO's, each copying program has it's own special iso type..(with a few execptions that just use the basic type)... in this case the files were made with Alochol 120%.

To play them just open EPSXE, and go to run ISO, then at the bottem select all files and chose the image file... im not sure which file is the imge.. it's the bigger of the two.

If that does not work your going to have to mount the image in a virtual drive...like Theotheimpaler said.

(Why do people iso games in such stupid file types. just stick with .bin/.iso please... )

I agree cos while some mdf files work in ePSXe by selecting iso, some do not, so bin/cue would be better. another point is there are some methods to change the format of an iso, but its a tedious task.

I'm sorry to ask again but...

I got FF7 running. It was great, until a battle came up. I couldn't see the screen at the bottom. I think this is because I don't have Pete's Soft. Can any post a link to get it? I can't find it. Thank you.

How do you know that ETrust is second rate? Because Norton/Symantec is more popular and well-known?
