This is a bug in winxp. What you need to do, is deselect Auto Arrange and Show by groups. Then reorganize your things by type.

    Reboot.

    Then reorganize by name.

    Reboot.

Then you can select auto arrange.

That may sound stupid, but i had a couple of folders that were bugged like this, and I did that and now they are correctly sorted, finally.

Alright I read your post above and you don't have to burn the game on a disc to play it with ePSXe. Just open up the iso from your HD.
File -> load iso -> play!

    howdy,
I've downloaded disruptor for the psx and it came only as a bin file, no cue file or anything else.
Could someone please tell me the exact settings I need to burn this game in alcohol 120%?
I've tried choosing the 'playstation' option thingy in alcohol and I've tried using cdmage to create a cue file from the bin file but it doesn't seem to work. (tried it in epsxe, not an actual playstation)
    any help would be appreciated.

Well you don't need a cue file to play it with ePSXe, the bin file is eneugh. Just do fil -> load iso -> hit the .bin file.
Anway if you want to burn it you have to make the cue file yourself wich is rather easy. Just open up a cue file from another psx game and open the cue file with notepad, change the path & name and such -> open nero or Alcohol ad burn

I tried that already. Tecmo Deception has a .7z extension, so I had to change the files I could view to all files when I selected the run iso option from the menu. If that is the correct way the run the game, it either takes an infinite amount of time to run or doesn't run at all. I know image files work because I've gotten Star Ocean 2 to work. I don't think that do the same thing with a non-image file is the correct way to do it.

.7z is not a ISO, it's an arcive with the ISO inside it. You need 7-zip

    To unzip it.

It works but no sound for the intro sequence. It seems to be missing most the sound; there's no music for this game. Is it supposed to be that way? Can somebody who got this game to work help?

I tried and tried and couldn't do a new thread so here it is:

    Recomendations on buying a computer?

I was wondering if anyone could help me by giving me some recomendations on a cheap pc. I want a pc that can play any of the newer games out there. Ive been looking at places like dell.com and stuff, but those guys are very expensive! So any of you have any suggestions on a cheap pc?
    Thanks
