I never do these threads...but what the hell...

    Skillet - Imperfection

I'd be incredibly surprised if anyone here listens to em. However Collide as an absolutely incredible album.

That's the wonderful thing about this thread, you get to potentially expose people to new music, or, find someone else who likes the stuff.

What the hell, if I find Skillet somewhere, I'll give it a listen.

Edit: Only found some unplugged Skillet stuff on SN.... I'll grab it anyway. Doesn't have that track though.

Currently, back on shuffle. Cracker - Low. Don't know anything about them. I hear this song on the radio, it's decent, but nothing to fap over.

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

The general rule is: If Smith fapps over a song, it goes platinum. Just ask Bon Jovi

That unplugged CD is absolutely awful. I did not like it at all. If you actually wanna hear some of their good songs, I'd be happy to send em.

    Nirvana - You Know You're Right(Studio ver.).

Not the best Kurt ever wrote, but alas it is fine. It's a rare song I believe. I listened to Incesticide(the first album) today for the first time in 4 years, damn... that album kicked so much ass. I recently downloaded the Nirvana boxed set with all those covers and rare recordings, kick-ass.

    Majesty - Son of Metal

Heavy Metal with balls of steel. Sounds like a modern Manowar.

Ermm...Soeru, Incesticide was the third album they released, not the first It's a compilation of radio sessions, B-Sides and unreleased stuff And You Know You're Right is no longer rare, tis on the best of album now, along with the new acoustic version in the box set .

The Police - Don't Stand So Close to Me '86

Despite it being incredibly 80's and maximum cheesey, I still think it fares up the original quite well.

    Must get Majesty...

    Cinderella - Nobody's Fool

What a cheesy power ballad, damn, 80's pop metal wasn't that good...

Heh, for some reason I thought Incesticide was the first... Which was the first album anyway?

Lol, I have just remembered how old you are.

    Avulsed - Nice Rotting Eyes.

I guess you could call this Avulsed's 'love song'. Dave Rotten writes some very elaborate and disturbing lyrics, but some of the lyrics are funny to some extent. Gore DM owns.

Not really listening to it right now, but about an hour ago, I was listening to a (bad quality) recording of my buddy's band practicing. They did quite a few songs, some covers, some their own, some messing around, but they did a decent job of Tool - Sober. He said it's a bit of old recording, and they are replacing a member, and said it helps significantly, so I plan on seeing them practice tommorow (I thought it was decent, at least). I'll see if I can get some of their demo around here when they make it.

But right now right now? Johnny Cash - One. Not a U2 fan. But Cash is the man.

Crimson bored the fuck out of me. Most EoS-albums do, actually.

Ulver - Hymn 1 - Wolf And Fear

Raw and primitive Black Metal (think Ildjarn). Never ever turn this up high on your speakers, you may break them. Fun fact: Their first album was Black Metal (lacks of bass), the second was an acoustic album and their third was a raw Black Metal-album. The rest is... techno. But not bad techno. GOOD techno. Weird but true.

    Arr, it was Bleach.

Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart

Woah, Joy Division rock. They remind me of the Cure with a punkier, rawer sound.
