I've been wanting to play a few of my PS2 games online again, but I have a few questions. Before, I used to have to move my PS2 downstairs and hook it up to my router to be able to play. This unfortunately didn't work too well because I had to use the family TV and they are huge nags. (OMG Louis is playing a video game downstairs!! blah, blah). I want to know if it is possible to plug my PS2 into my PC upstairs to play the game? It is on our wireless network, and I heard this is possible. Is there anyway I can do this?

Default .exe endings on some n64 roms

why is it that some n64 roms have .exe endings? usually the most popular, wanted names? ex. pokemon stadium, golden eye...

Is this just a lame attempt to send a virus or is there a reason for this?

I'm new to this whole emulator stuff (which is FREAKIN AWESOME!!! by the way...) and i just downloaded project 64 along with Perfect Dark 64. It works perfectly and the graphics are awesome etc. etc. but i have ONE problem. Being a first person shooter, there is an essential need for complete accuracy when using the controls. However, when using the keyboard, it is very difficult to pinpoint targets using the gun; you either go too much or too little. Is there a way to configure the controls in order to use the mouse as well? This may be a noob question, or not, but then again, i am a noob to this. It's just been very annoying trying to play this game without the accuracies of the mouse. Would greatly appreciate any replies so i can get on with life by playing perfect dark. if you can email the information to my email address: nimxnooj@hotmail.com i'll appreciate that as well.

I'm not too sure about this but I'll make up another thread in computer tech for you.

These are most likely self extracting files, but a virus scan would be recommended if you're not sure.

I don't think there's anything out that can "combine" mouse and controller, i think that NRage_DInput8_V2.dll is your best bet.

Its a plug-in for the n64 emulators, heres the file, you have to unzip the file into your plug-in folder and select it when using project 64 then configure it, there's some options to configure the mouse but I'm not exactly sure, this plug-in might already be packed with the emulator.

It never finds the cable. I downloaded the latest rar, extracted it to the folder, and unzipped one of the zips in the zips in the new folder. I've done this before, but that was a long time ago, and my computer's had Windows xp reinstalled on it since. (viruses)

Anyway, when I start up ezfa, I'll turn on my gameboy, and hold select and start. The bit that says nintendo will dissapear. However, it won't find the cable. Also, the new software wizard keeps popping up every time I put the cable in the usb port. Is there something I need to install?

So...have you actually downloaded the linker program? That's y'know, an essential tool when it comes to uploading roms to the linker. If so, then you should be set. Although the program is faulty as hell, so you have to keep at it until it works. I sorta-kinda remember it working if you start the program, remove the cable and then re-insert it, or something like that. Eh, it's been awhile since I had mine. If you can't manage to get it to work, you should be able to find some help by searching over Google or something .

Eh, I guess you'll have to wait for Sprung to come around. He should know what's up. I'd suggest PM'ing him.

    I'm here now

Mine has been giving me fits lately, doing the same thing yours is. I have to completely remove the drivers, pick them out manually in the Windows folders and re-install. I believe it is a problem with the XP driver USBSCAN, but who knows. I finally got mine working, and I just leave the linker plugged in, and I haven't had another problem...

I am here if you need a step by step

what drivers are you talking about? This is no old program, all I did is download a .rar, and extract it to a folder.

Inside the folder, you will also find Zipped drivers for Win98, Win 2K/XP and Win XPSP1

I have a problem with ff7 iso... I got all the way up to the part where you have to get the key stone from Dio. The problem is whenever Cloud goes up to the battle stage it always stops and gives me this error message saying Error running epsxe- opcode 15 UNK ( PC 00000080) ( 9140, 216) is there any way I can fix this? i'm using ePSXe by the way. my video plugin is P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.16 and i've tried other plugins and had the same results.
