Pink Floyd - Run Like Hell

From The Wall, a song about Nazis to a disco beat, genious, I love the lyrics to this.

If youre taking your girlfriend out tonight,
You better park the car well out of sight.
cause if they catch you in the back seat trying to pick her locks,
Theyre gonna send you back to mother in a cardboard box.
You better run!
Increase the size of your wang - PM crusher the words "poo poo" for extra length now!

Beware Coward!

Soundgarden - Tighter and Tighter
They have the good luck of gracing my discman today. I've found a newfound respect for Soundgarden. I truly had only heard a few songs here and there, and the few songs that I had heard sounded too similar for me to get into them. However, after getting a few CDs, these guys are my new Gods. =P

They're still not better than Nirvana, though, like Miranda believes. (She ranks Nirvana third, after Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.)

That is indeed a great song.

"With your nerves in tatters
As the cockleshell shatters
Let the hammers batter down the door
You better run!"

Necrophagist - Mutilate the Stillborn.

So fucking technical, it will make your jaw drop so hard you'll accidentally give yourself a blunt-force castration, making your entrails twist and turn secreting the sweet juices of putrefaction while you feast on the odors of your own rotting flesh. Yay, I just wrote a Cannibal Corpse song.

Nargaroth - Black Metal Ist Krieg

The greatest title of all time is this. It's so fucking stupid it's funny. Speaking of krieg, another masterpiece I've done:

Soundgarden - Burden in my Hand
I love this song. One of the best ones on the CD. Very... soothing, yet not. Yay.

Every now and again I'll come across a song that makes me tingle with joy at the sheer goodness of it all. The Distillers - Beat Your Heart Out is one of them. I must have listened to it about 30 times in the last couple of days. Cracking stuff.

The Datsuns - Blacken My Thumb

Splendid bit of rock'n'roll from a superb band, comes highly recommended, and I know stuff about stuff, so recognise.

BM ist krieg, a phrase I keep hearing from BM fans... I guess this is what it comes from?

Gorgoroth - Gorgoroth

Yay, Darkthrone-ish black metal. I love it, no symphonic bullshit, no fads, just pure hateful black metal. It's also easy to follow along, unlike other BM bands in which I never know what the fuck is going on. ie: Immortal(most of the time, but I love Immortal with a passion. ).
A little clean vocals in this too, I just wish black metal didn't sound so melancholic. I wish it was more evil or thrashy most of the time... but those sad melodies are cool from time to time.

I'm at home, working on my little diary project. And what gets me working faster than anything else?

That's right, you guessed it.

Shakespeare In Hell - Three Witches
A wonderful bit of intro here leading into a rather powerful song. The lyrics are mind-boggling, but of course they should be -- Shakespeare presented with the raw passion of a heavy metal band would make anyone tingle all over.

Skee Lo - I Wish

Splendid song this one. I would write more but its far too early in the morning for my brain to function at a decent level. Oh well.

Dark Tranquillity - Hedon

Watching the video... cool and simplistic. Mikael Stanne has a nice growl, but his voice still carries some melody, so non-deathmetal fans will really love Dark Tranquillity. Similar to In Flames, only all of their songs are generally sad and melancholic unlike IF's generally happy/thrashy songs. They're probably the slowest-paced melo death band I know, but they're one of the best(and one of the first). Methamphetamine, you will like this.

Terrorvision - Alice Whats The Matter

Hangman should remember this one, if I know him and his musical knowledge and all that. Splediferous it is too. Enjoy.

Haha, I was talking with a friend yesterday about what happened to Terrorvision. I think the lead singer just pops up on Nevermind the Buzzcocks every now and then, and that's it

Terrorvision - Tequila
"It makes me happy!" Oh yes, yes you guys, YES! And for you pop whores out there, Sean Hughes from Nevermind the Buzzcocks was in the video. Yes indeedy.

And it looks like Sevenfold has made people start to put band names+songs in bold, well done.

....and Nirvana are better than Soundgarden. Soundgarden never reached anything in the class of In Utero....

...I will also confess I've never listened to Alice in Chains, and that I don't like Pearl Jam that much either...
