I'd consider getting another wife. J/k.

Megadeth - Anarchy in the UK

Cover for a Social Distortion song? It must be a cover, Megadeth never sounded this punky. Great song, this is what all punk should be like. Speaking of Megadeth, I hear their US tour(almost complete) is going to be their last, and Mustaine has no future plans for the band... Sad, as I was really getting into the band these past few months.

Everyone knows that's a Sex Pistols-song.

Twilightning - Into Treason

Reminds me of a mix between Sonata Arctica and Wolf, and that's not a bad thing at all.

Ah, well British punk. Close enough.

Ceremonial Oath - Dream Song

Early early melodic death metal, with Anders Friden on vocals. Bleh. Sounds a bit like something out of In Flames' "Lunar Strain".

Sasha & Digweed - Blue Fear

Classic trance track, that anyone with any interest whatsoever in the genre should listen to on a regular basis. Seriously.

Also, my room is left tainted with the faint odour of Peperami, which is vaguely disturbing if truth doth be told.

Must check out Sasha n Digweed then...

Loquillo - A Por Ellos, Que Son Pocos Y Cobardes...(album)

A classic well-known 70's/80's punk/rockabilly band from Spain. I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but my bro used to listen to this back when I was really young, so I remember a few songs. The band name "Loquillo" translates to "Little crazy one" and the album title translates to: "Go get 'em, they are few and cowardly".

Any fan of 70's rock or oldschool punk will love Loquillo and Barracuda(pure Spanish punk), even if you don't understand Spanish.

Edit: Iced Earth - The Reckoning

Holy fuck! This is awesome! Non-cheesy power metal with Judas Priest-ish vocals, fast riffs, and awesome song progression. I'm giving their newest album "The Glorious Burden" a first listen, and I must say I'm impressed, and I'm only on the 4th track. Lyrics about historical events of the United States... nifty.

May he rest in peace. This man has a voice that stuns me... R.I.P.

Foo Fighters - Exhausted

I think it was Hangman who posted on this song a while back, and by jingo, what a song. Now going to listen to it again, simply because I can. Arf.

Must be a tribute band. I'm sure he's awesome if he's a Dickinson-wannabe, but dude, there's no one quite like Bruce.

Helloween - Halloween

Ahh!! It's helloween
Fucking classic, one of my favorite "pumpkin-heads" song. Hard to believe that power metal dates back to the early 80's, I always thought it was something out of the mid/early 90's. \m/

Story of the Year - And The Hero Will Drown
What can I say? I like some of the new-age teenage angsty bullshit. I'm a pop-culture whore. Shoot me.

I love this song so much it's unbearable.

They should rewrite the song to "And the Emo Will Drown", and I might actually listen to the band.

Dimmu Borgir - For All Tid ("For All Time"?)

Best Borgir song ever, fuck all their symphonic/orchestral bullshit. If you've heard of them on TV, ignore that "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse"/Deathcult Armaggedon crap, their first album is true melodic black metal. I love the acoustic intro so much that I went and got the guitar tab just to learn it.

Just giving Deicide and Morbid Angel a rest for today.

Hangman: What can I say, I never really listen to punk often, let alone Sex Pistols.

You could say "For All Time", but it sounds pretty dumb. "Forever" would be a better translation.

Summoning - Flight Of The Nazgul

Tolkien-inspired Black Metal from Austria (?). I've only listened to Minas Morgul by them before, and I'm currently listening through "Lugburz" (is this a name of an orc or something?). So far, it's decent.

Goldie Looking Chain - Half Man Half Machine

Before we go further, I want it to be known that I hate this band. I hate their mainstream, chav Welshness. However, the start of this song is fugging hilarious. Listen to it for that alone.

EDIT to say that Hangman, you are my hero.
