Heh, we get lots of Swedish and German tourists, especially in the South of the island.

Most of the island is covered with small mountains, just try driving around the center of the isle for some real dizziness... Have you seen the capital city(Las Palmas)? It's insanely beutiful and calm(but moderately populated), I lived near the harbor with no mountains in sight. I even got to see the Queen Mary II up front by walking a block from my apartment.

I have World Wind laying around, but I uninstalled it since it was such a HD space muncher... I never knew you could see places in WW so detailed, guess I'll go grab it again once this thingy expires.

I dunno, but they both use Blue Marble, so I thought they did. I also had problems with HD space.
