even if the US didnt make the bomb someone else would of its not like it would of been stopped shit could of been used again the US or Aus thank god we are tryin to stop the bomb from being used.
I mean im glad they used the bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki they were fightin us its a small price to pay to end a war that could of went on for longer and killed more people

Not necessarily... They had fighter planes and stuff... And subs... And stuff...
I doubt the cassualties would've been countless... The worst part was alrady over, only Japan remained... And they surrendered right after the bombing... A few assaults would've been enough to end it all...

Except they didn't surrender after Hiroshima....They were willing to sacrifice their own citizens to continue the war. It was only after Nagasaki that they finally surrendered. I don't think they hold it against the US today, because modern Japan is so much different than what is was before.
Those people who say that we shouldn't have killed them at the expense of US lives...who do you think we would care more about? Our soldiers, who have fought for our country and served with honor, many of which had no choice to be there, or the civilians of the ENEMY? Right, obviously we are gonna pick ourselves, they CHOSE to fight against us.

Erh if i recall right the US came late into the war we AUSSIES and the stupid brits had the bulk of this war. if it wasnt for the Jap's thinkin the US was goin to bomb them you's would never have gotten into the war.

No, but instead of aiming it at civilian settlements indiscriminately, they could've organized their attacks much better... Hiroshima and Nagasaki might've been of strategic importance to Japan, but destroying the whole city...? A government's gotta save face... Back then, we didn't have humanitarian organizations protesting against war, but even so, wiping out a whole city "in the name of war" has never been acceptable... If it were you out there, or your family, you'd be moping about it...
