Alcohol 120% is made specificly for many copy protections. It reads certain things that aren't normally read in order to bypass the copy protection when mounted.

Ok, have you tried using pete's software GPU plugin?
As that might help if there is an emulation flaw, but it could also be the ISO, what kind of ISO file is it, and where did you get it?

Also, make sure you have the most up to date Epsxe and plugins: www.ngemu.com <-- They aslo have a vast database of problems with PSX emulation, and im 90% sure you will find your answer there.

It happens occasionally, I'm not sure why but in most cases its when

1. you post the message on the next page ie. 11, 21, 31 etc
2. when it "cannot find server" you've made your post but it doesn't show until you look at that thread.

i need help badly. I'm new and inexperienced with emulators, I've downloaded a playstation emulator, PSX, and have proceeded to download FFVII off of this website. i download the first disk in its mulitple parts. All of the parts were .rar files except for the first file which was an application. After i downloaded all the files to the first disk of FFVII i double clicked the application file, Final Fantasy.part01, and it began to extract the .rar files. Once extracted there was a new file but this time it was a .MDS file. I tried to open it under Play ISO in the PSX but with no avail. I am clueless as to what to do next. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need to mount it with deamon tools or Alcohol 120%

Yup, thats the place to get it.
Cyberpad is good, but I don't know if it will tell you or not, but if you are planning on playing against a m8, make sure you both have the EXACT version of the iso.

As if they are to different versions of the iso, then chances are it wont work, I had this problem when playing it over my lan, which I fixed when I copied the same ISO I had to each computer.
