Dismember - Misanthropic
Damn, I should really listen to the "bigger" DM bands, I'm really missing out on some classics. I listen to mostly new DM bands, but I'm really missing out on great stuff like this band, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus, and other DM bands that have been around for a long time. Don't know, it may be that high production quality appeals to me(probably why I don't like most "true" black metal).This band used to be more brutal in the past(or so I've heard), now they sound more like a Gothenburg band... just not so melodic. After all, they are Swedish, so I guess it's inevitable.
