    Finntroll - Jaktens Tid

Going to try to learn this now. Not just the lyrics, I'm taking a peek at some Moonsorrow and Finntroll guitar tabs as well.

    Hundra ben att kncka, bitches!

    Dismember - Misanthropic

Damn, I should really listen to the "bigger" DM bands, I'm really missing out on some classics. I listen to mostly new DM bands, but I'm really missing out on great stuff like this band, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus, and other DM bands that have been around for a long time. Don't know, it may be that high production quality appeals to me(probably why I don't like most "true" black metal). This band used to be more brutal in the past(or so I've heard), now they sound more like a Gothenburg band... just not so melodic. After all, they are Swedish, so I guess it's inevitable.

    Botch - Japam

Referred to as noisecore on AMG, linked to Converge and Isis, I had to try them out. They are great and definitely bear similarities to the two, but all threehave a difeent sound...

    Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

So much better when it's not being sung by the Scissor Sisters.

That's my faovurite song of all time, and apparently they give it quite the butchering. So I've decided I'm never going to hear it. The last time I did that was with the newest Limp Bizkit album, and then they got that Who cover on the CD that's played at work. Shite.

Cult Of Luna - To Be Remembered

Not impressed really, I'll check out some more...

The Stone Roses - Fool's Gold

Mad-chester, mad for it, etc etc. The full 9minute version of one of the best tunes ever.

    Puya - Oasis

Interesting band from Puerto Rico. They use some acoustic guitars and drums to play what sounds slightly like Latin music, but later throw in some decent thrash metal riffs a la Anthrax. What I don't like is the Nu metal-ish singing/rapping and the boring riffs during some main verses in some songs, but the other riffs are okay. Nothing incredible, but it's unlike anything I've ever heard.

    Meshuggah - I

Probably my favourite Meshuggah song. But that's mainly because it's 20 minutes long. Can't wait for Catch 33!...

    Decapitated - Babylon's Pride.

One of my favorite Decapitated songs. This band is highly original, very unlike many other death metal bands. Later on(on the album containing this song), they acquired some heavy influence from Vader, another Polish band, but they're still Decapitated - fast, brutal and original. When the band started out, the members were at around the age of 15... talk about bad-ass.

    Edit: Decapitated - Three-Dimensional Defect

Song from the new album "The Negation". Pretty bad-ass riffs. I'm not kidding when I say this band is original. The lyrics aren't your common gore or anti-christian/satanic lyrics, they're all about nihilism and misanthropy, and well written btw.

Blackseed Boys - Britney Fears One Whore Crime

Soeru, if you liked Ten Masked Men's cover of 'Baby one more time' your going to love this one, simply awesome. I didn't knew so simplish pop songs could become this great.
