Not quite sure about the first part of the title, but I think it was something along the lines of 'The Black Book of Mixed Drinks'.

Just finished Mort by Terry Pratchett. Going through the Discworld series, though I am currently sidetracking into Constance, or, Solitary Practices by Lawrence Durrell. Man, what a writer.

    Jill Mansell- Falling for you
Finished it just today. Can't believe I actually liked such a book. Atleast it didn't turn out like I thought it would (a M&B), never read one of those, but I have a fair idea of what they're like. But it's good when you don't have much to do and need to do kill time, leaves you with a nice fuzzy feeling.....

Tanith Lee -- Black Unicorn and Gold Unicorn-- and Red Unicorn whenever I manage to find it somewhere in the depths of my room.

I love them to bits, almost as much as the Wind on Fire trilogy (insert author here), and they are wonderfully funny (thanks to the peeve). The BEST part is that there are some love feelings going on, but they rarely ever talk about it. Authors always flaunt affairs these days-- it shows our obsession to it quite clearly.

OH, and also, Next of Kin by Roger Fouts. EXTREMELY good.

Ever heard of the Washoe Project? Next of Kin follows Roger Fouts through that project for just over thirty years. Non-fiction is teh rox when it's about understanding humankind and our close relatives.
