I just played this and it seems to work alright for me, I don't see what the problem is, what version are you using, I suggest you use PJ64 v1.5 with the Sp1 as well.

Or could you be more specific with the problem?

It works alright, until you get to see alot of graphics, like Lums, and the flying fists, that are Sprites, not 3d objects, and Like Earthworm Jim 3d, there is no representation of depth, like it is not hidden by objects...

Right got ya, now even i'm new to this idea i heard glide 64 is a good plugin for depth problems

    http://www.emuxhaven.net/~glide64/

Try this plug-in if you have trouble configuring it just post back, if you do configure it right i still can't guarantee it will be perfect.

I just tried it and it is quite bad, there are some service packs and a lot of configuration options here, I'll come back to you when I get a happy medium.

I am trying to get Rice 5.6.0 to work, and it seems to have cleared up the problem, if you could send me a freeze state of a visible problem, I can double check, I have not used Rayman in awhile.

Now the plugin won't work, it used to say failed to intialize video, now it runs, and gives freezes at 100% CPU useage.

I wouldn't suggest using Rices plugins for this game at all. Stick with Jabo's or Glide,I haven't had much time to test it in other modes, but If i find a perfect setting, I will post it to you(theo makes this top priority)

I just found out there is a problem with the OpenGL portion of the code, but going to Direct X, and exabling the 2 Software Check boxes at the bottom makes this game run about perfect, like I said, give me a save state of where the problem occurrs for you, and I will see If it appears here.

Rices plugin is technically much more advanced in DX mode, so yeah stick with that If you've a card with pixel shaders, it's very much worthwhile ensuring you are using the pixel shader mode too.

Just tried rice 5.60 and its good on rayman(doubtful at first) It's plays better than Jabo's but the Lums seem invisible.

No pixel shader on my card. I'll have to try it out on another computer.

It takes a little bit of Tweaking to get it to work correct. I am getting some errors from PJ64, like failed to allocate memory that is a pain. and sometimes it does not start up, so I have to reconfigure the plug... it is a pain, but for the after affects it is worth it.
