The 2nd album is MUCH better than the first, yup.Originally Posted by Soeru

From their first album (and their best album). One of the better songs W.A.S.P. has recorded...
Faraquet - Cut Self Not
Great mathy indieieieeiy postpunk. One of a bunch of cuntingly good bands that I started listening to ages ago and only recently realised is on Dischord, which I hadn't bothered much with before. It's nice to have a cheap distributor of good albums...
Valhalla - Guardians of Metal
Power metal from Spain! Yay! ... although Dark Moor is vastly superior, this band is pretty good too. A bit cheesy, especially since the vocalist has a HUGE Spanish accent... but I still like it. I think they should just keep their lyrics in Spanish, they're not very well known outside of Spain anyway.
It would be cool if these guys sped up their riffs a bit and turned their music into speed metal, cuz this band just feels like it's missing those insanely fast riffs.

A Perfect Circle - The Hollow
Haven't listen to APC in ages![]()
Avulsed - Sweet Lobotomy
My favorite Spanish band. Great death metal, and Dave Gore is one hell of a vocalist.
Edit:
Necrophagist - Only Ash Remains
The sheer technical-ness will give metalheads an erection. I've never heard death metal so well organized and nicely done since Arsis. That wasn't so long ago...
Edit2:
Nightrage - Gloomy Daydreams
This is a band featuring At the Gates' vocalist(for those of you who don't know, At the Gates is a well-known melodic death metal band from the 90's that recently split up). Great stuff, not as thrashy as At the Gates, but it has a lot in common with Skyfire and In Flames... so there.![]()

"Nightfall" (From the Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake OST)
Damn, the music from this game is very well done. Despite being such an old computer, the MSX had an outstanding sound chip.
Mew-She Spider....The guitar is so damn good.
Yay, me and skinner are no longer the only Mew fans hereOriginally Posted by Dingy

Best of all, the band is from everyone's favorite country: Spain! This song is from back when they had a female vocalist, who didn't do the cheesy "gothic fallen angel/evanescence" type of singing.

Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon - Day Tripper
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TRIPPAAAA~
a day in the life of-Beatles...
Fun listening to someone high talk about someone dead.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Chemical Plant Zone
No one who remixes this song will ever do it as well as it is done in the original. Dig that groove, baby!<But seriously, the remixes may have higher quality samples, but who gives a rip? Bam!>

Pop The Trunk
New Car Smell
World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.
i don't know what this song is. it's on TV and from the show Radio Free Roscoe.
but it has the best synth line i have heard in a long long time.

Pandemonium - Morninglight Revery
One of the best songs on the Insomnia album(kind of hard to pick tracks since there are only 7 songs on the album). Gets a bit doomish in between, but overall it's pretty melodic. The main verses with the piano and the light choruses are damned cool. I'd add a growled "morning light revery" somewhere in that part though, I just feel like it's missing that... oh well.
