I might buy it... it looks neat. And I've already got my desktop filled with so many different consoles that I can't afford for it to take up too much room.

I'll be getting it because 1) my brother has my PS2, and I can't get a hold of the little bitch. And 2) I like this whole new design. And 3) it has a network adapter built in.

    I have justified my whorishness.

I only see one disadvantage to it right now. That is no harddrive. I guess you won't be able to do hddloader or FFXI.

Big deal. I'm sure that if more games come out that support it, then Sony will release some sort of USB HDD for it. As of now though, the only games that support it are FFXI and RE:Outbreak. Big whoop. It does suck that you won't be able to use the HD Loader with it, but if you really feel the need to, then you'll still be able to buy an older model PS2...

I think this is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen. After that PSP, Gameboy ADV DS, and PSone. I don't have the spare money to go out and waste money on something I already have. If you are that lazy to drop a PS2 and take it in your backpack...then I don't what to say. --'

As stated, people who don't have a PS2 (yes, there still are quite a number of them in the world) will have a new option... Is that a bad thing...?

    No...

The PS2 I bought awhile back is starting to go wonky, and will likely be a worthless door-stop in a week or two. So having said that, it's unlikely that I'll get one of these things, unless my PS2 actually manages to keep on working until it comes out....
