DId you like Harry Potter, ^?

I am a big big fan of the movies, and the books are all right but rowling's writing style in the first two left something to be desired.

Anyone ever tried Tom Holt. Most of his books are semi Terry Pratchenistic and are'nt that great when compared to TP. The exception is "Flying Dutch". It was a really good story and as good as the TP novels.

Very cool that you've met TP twice,Jimmy Onestroke. Whats he like in real life, funny or disturbingly normal.

I just started reading "Wizard's First Rule" by Terry Goodkind. A bunch of people have told me it's a good series, so I figure... why not.

Currently Rereading the wheel of time series. But I suggest reading "Armor" by john steakley, "Death Gate Cycle" by margrett weiss and tracy hickman, "starship troopers" "Double Star" both by robert heinlein, "Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, "Sun Tsu: The Art Of War" mildly entertaining, "Honor Harrington" Series by David Webber, "Handmaidens Tale" I'm not sure if thats the right title its a literature book, "Grunts" humorous look at what if fantasy orcs and goblins recieved US marine training/equipment, "A Child Named 'It'" just a real life story of one of the worst child abuse cases in california I think.. its disturbing, "Rape of the mind" A self account of torture under the nazi regime; written by the jewish psychologist that was tortured and explains the breakdown of the human mind.
