Mago de Oz - Jesus de Chamberi

One of their old songs, awesome shit. It starts with a Judas Priest-ish scream.
Everything sounds great in this song.

Windir - Ending

Ah, fuck, this is a really great song. The real name of the song is Anne Knutsdotter (a folksong, which has also been covered by Glittertind). Finntroll made a cover of this song for the newest (and last) Windir-release, "Valfar, ein Windir". Damn, I need to get my hands on that release soon...

Oh, and Anne Knutsdotter is a norwegian song, can't wait to hear Wilska sing it in norwegian!

Hey! Poetry stole my story! You fucker.
That still cracks me up. He wrote that in my "good luck farewell card" too. I'll see if I can scan it in. It's rather hilarious.

I'm gonna chop it up more and more soon. I have to find my favorite IRC quote first though.

Heehee. I'll scan the get well soon card tomorrow. PM me about it to remind me. I don't have the energy to search for it yet. I figure after 12 hours of not being home, going from the gym to school, I should have plenty of energy to search for it.

Anyone who has seen my last post would already know that I am listening to the Soundtrack to Banjo-Kazooie. Ahhh...

Deicide - Scars of the Crucifix

Great song for headbanging. For those of you who don't listen to death metal: If you want to take a peek into this genre, check out this band or Vital Remains, Deicide's vox/bass player's side project. Very cool stuff, although I'd reccomend starting with some lighter melodic DM if you're new to this kind of music.

Pretty Girls Make Graves - The Teeth Collector
I almost had a chance to see this band live at Richards on Richards in Vancouver. The problem? It was an 18+ showing. The fuckers. That was probably my last chance to see them live. I'm going to go to the next one whether I have to fucking kill someone. And I will! Oh, believe me, I will! I am so absolutely in love with this band that it's not even funny.

Gutted. Pretty Girls Make Graves are one of the bands you listen to which are awesome rather than non-awesome. I'm vaguely the same way, I'm missing Muse's show here in a couple of weeks because I'm not turning 18 until November. Lameness.

Mastodon - Naked Burn

Why yes, yes it is awesome. A hell of a lot different to the few tracks I heard pre-Leviathan too, considering purchase.

Yay. You discovered one of the awesome albums released on the 31st. Now listen to the new LoG.

Queens Of The Stone Age - Better Living Through Chemistry

First QOTSA I ever liked that wasn't for the novelty of it (Fell Good Hit Of The Summer). Still awesome. Bongo's and shit...

Britney Spears - Everytime.
Because The Watcher is playing this shit over TeamSpeak and I can't be arsed to mute him as he may say something vaguely important and I'd rather not miss it.

Question for the masses: Mastodon - Remission? Flop or flagrantly fantastic?

Mars Volta - Concertina

From the awesome, awesome Tremulant EP. Every track is good on this EP, with a total of three tracks. My god.

Remission is one of the greatest albums ever.

The Black Dahlia Murder - The Funeral Thirst

Really great melodic death/black metal in the style of At The Gates. Nothing new, but they're fucking good at it...
