The Red Chord - Dreaming In Dog Years

What a fucking great drummer. Up there with Pennie, Portnoy, Dailor and the guy from Hella. Had only heard That Certain Special Ugly from these guys guys, but I got this from that hXc site that Sevenfold mentioned. Cool...

    Slayer - Raining Blood

Classic thrash from Slayers best album, and one of the best thrash albums of all time.

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Trogdor was a man
    Uhh...Maybe he was a Dragon-Man
Uhh...Maybe he was just a Dragon
    Uhm...but he was still

    Trogdor, Trogdor

    Burninating the countryside
    Burninating the peasants
    Buriniating all the people
    in their Thatched Roof Cottages

    Thatched Roof Cottages

And The Trogdor Comes in The Night.

    Metallica - Ride the Lightning

I'm trying to learn how to play parts of songs from Ride the Lightning and Kill Em All, so I'm giving them a few more listens before I continue practicing... but damn, they're hard. 0.o It took me almost 30 minutes to get the intro to "Battery" from Master of Puppets right. Talk about tough shit.

Jubes, he didn't post twice, I deleted the other guy's post inbetween.
And Soeru please tell me that it's Hetfield's part in Battery, not Hammett's.

Cryptopsy - Graves Of The Fathers

From their nothing short of excellent "None So Vile" album. Brutal as fuck, makes me miss having stereo sound on my pc oh so much...

I havent been able to practice it today, nor will I be able to tomorrow, because Bill Hitch broke my A string and Greigs aren't open on the weekend, the fuckers!

    Converge - Drop Out

See, right now, You Fail Me is my favourite release of the year. But each of the other 4 of the 5 best becomes my favourite when I'm listening to it. Miss Machine, Leviathan and the two LoG's...

I still think we could play a different song.....

Killswitch Engage - My Last Serenade

I like this song a lot, even though a lot of people here seem to hate this band.

Im currently listening to F*** the Facts - La Tte Hors De L'eau

I really like them because they have a clean sound, and a female vocalist, which is kind of rare for this type of music... I recommend checking them out just to hear her (They offer free legal MP3s at http://www.audiostreet.net/artists/0...the_facts.html

    Finntroll - Blodnatt

Listening through Midnattens Widunder again, one of the best albums ever... not better than Jaktens Tid and Nattfdd though, but very close.

Between The Buried And Me - More Of Myself To Kill

Opening track on the self titled. Trademark shifting from gloomy math metalcore to three part vocal harmonies. Found a site hosting a full video set of these guys. Awesome...

    theSTART : her song.

At first i couldn't stand this song, but it kinda grew on me. I'll admit it sounds a bit "poppy" and its the only thing i've heard from them, but what the hell. I like it.

    I love her voice.

    Steel - Heavy Metal Machine

A "joke-band" that mocks heavy metal from the 80's. The band consists of Opeth-members and Dan Swan. But hell, joke-band? This song is one of the better songs I've heard in a while.

    All the Opeth members?

    Carcass - Exhume To Consume

From the Symphonies Of Sickness album. Undeniably their best effort from what I've heard. Good cunts...

A really nice Helloween-cover, from the Keepers of Jericho Vol. 2-tribute.

I'll have to check it out.

    Miles Davis - Boplicity

From the ubercool album "Birth Of The Cool". Probably the oldest album I listen to. 1949 and stuff...
