i actually thought it was quite easy, i did it last night in like 5 minuites. And its worth it. I used to have to log on to two email things when i was on the computer, which was pretty annoying

You can, but I won't. As its abuse of a free service I enjoy.

Yeah, I've also read about a script that let's you use it as online storage. It could easily get your account terminated if the folks find out, so why risk it?
You could always send yourself a file, providing it's not too big 'cause you'll keep getting the "No data to display" message in Firefox.
I already have a few songs in my account.
Oh yeah, and since your sent messages get saved, you always have a copy of the attachments you've sent. Brilliant.

I think some of the tools linked here by polobunny (very kindly. Stab.) Allow you to use gmail in a mail client.

The guys at Gmail seem to have caught on to this little tool. Now they make you enter a validation code(you know, a code shown in a distorted image) apart from your password to make sure it's not something logging automatically(such as the Firefox plugin). Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Yes, exactly why I linked and reccomended the official one (which I have come to like about as much as the firefox one anyway).

Personally im satisfied with the official one. I havent tried the Firefox one, but I dont see any way the official one could be better (besides having TBird compatibility). Besides dont you need Firefox open to get alerts?
