I was supposed to see those guys live around June, but they didn't let me in... meh.

Tomohiro Harada, YUAN & a-li - Flyin' to your Heart

Kickass soundtrack from a kickass game. Guitaroo Man is one of the better rythm/music-games out there, I want a sequel, NOW!

Bah, not as bad as missing out on an In Flames concert because I don't meet the age requirements. *whimpers*

Arsis - Worship Depraved (from the Arsis demo CD)

It sounds different from the album version, the drums sound clearer for some reason, and the guitars more "raw" in a sense. The singing is superb as always, but it also sounds noticably different from the album. The recording quality is unusually good for a demo CD, great stuff.

Edit:

Mago de Oz - Ancha es Castilla

... awesome folk metal from my country. The title translates to "Wide is Castille(a big province/old kingdom in Spain)" or Castille is wide, for you modern grammar whores.
A part of the song says "We all dream about being a knight and have something to fight for, and a love to defend". Don Quijote reference right there, kids.

Viva Espaa, cabrones.

Avenged Sevenfold - Second Heartbeat
Everyone who likes good (not amazing, but good) intrumentals, screaming lyrics with some good singing thrown in, I recommend you try these guys. You may not love 'em, but you'll at least get the idea. I recommend this song and Chapter Four.

Lightning Bolt - 2 Towers

Fucking cool math rock band. How I wish the scene flourished before I got into it, I'd actually be able to buy their cd's...

Pink Cream 69 - Gods Come Together

Very cool melodic... hard rock! Surprised you there, didn't I? I love the "Thunderdome" album released this year. I didn't know they had been around since I was born.

Pink Cream, that's Deris' other band, right? I still haven't checked them out...

Glittertind - Fjellheimen gir meg Fred

That guy who plays this stuff is only 16 or 17 years old... respect.

Children of Bodom - Silent Night, Bodom Night.

Iiaiiaiiaiiyow!! Laiho is the shit.

Damn, I didn't know Glittertind was a one-man project, let alone the fact that he's about my age. *does an Ali G-ish hand sign* Respect for my main man indeed.

Cool Joke - Undo

The 3rd opening song from the Full Metal Alchemist anime. Great stuff, and the singing is so damned catchy I learned the lyrics quite fast, despite being in Japanese. If all punk/rock was as good as this, I'd actually listen to that kind of music more often.

Edit:

Dead Elizabeth - Beuty in Details

Very nicely done melodic death from this new band.

36 Crazyfists - Kenai
This is a really good song. I've fallen in love with the lead singer of this band; he is absolutely wonderful. I love the lyrics to everything that I've heard so far, and the instrumentals remain heavy and passionately throughout the entire CD.

Chrono Cross - Star-Stealing Girl

the title almost even makes sense for the emotions it evokes! Sorta. Replace "star" with "heart" and "girl" with "girl who's really far away."

World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.

Rites Of Spring - For Want Of

All this talk of emo has built up a thirst which I am slaking. Slaking in the arse. It feels good.
