    Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop

Typical, eh? I dunno. The origins of punk ska. I can so get down to this stuff. 'course, I'm a poser, because the first place I heard this was Tony Hawk 3.

World of Warcraft... my friend convinced me... bt what started as a skeptic sense of wary enjoyment has turned into the biggest time-waster of all... well, uh, time. I'm getting better. But that's what all addicts say.

    Sonata Arctica - Don't Say A Word

Getting better and better after each listen. Can't wait to listen through "Reckoning Night".

    <b>Nirvana</b> - <i>Rape Me</i>
It's sad that I find this song incredibly funny, especially at the end where he is yelling "rape me" over and over. Alas, I can't help myself.

Although a bit depressive, I also find "Rape Me" funny.

    In Flames - Trigger

Great song, despite from being a track off the Reroute to Remain album(which is undoubtedly inferior to In Flames' previous albums, but I like it more than their newer "Soundtrack to Your Escape"). It's a bit less aggressive, so it might appeal to more commercial-oriented listeners. The chorus was a bit cheesy but alas not as bad as the choruses in Soundtrack to Your Escape. Hmmm... come to think of it, this was the first In Flames song I ever heard... kick ass.

Richard Cheese - Rape Me (Nirvana cover)

Heh, couldn't help myself. Great fun. Starts out with "Here's one for the ladies." Yes, I'm going straight to hell. I like the song by Nirvana.... but the lyrics kind of suck. And not suitable when the nephew is about.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
    But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

    <b>Brand New</b> - <i>Failure By Design</i>
I'm starting to really like <b>Brand New</b>'s stuff. They're rather interesting. My favorite song, so far, is the <i>No Seatbelt Song</i>.

    Die Happy - Supersonic Speed

A very very awesome power/melodic hard rock band. The instrumentals sound a lot like Hardline(hard rock from the 90's) or Crush 40(melodic hard rock band with the guy from Hardline(J. Gioeli) and Jun Senoue, which did most of the songs for the Sonic Adventure games).
I first heard of this band in a music video with tons of footage from the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons, games, etc. Really cool, and the lyrics and sheer energy in the song fit quite nicely to the whole Sonic theme. I haven't listened to any plain rock in a while. 0.o

Sword of Darkness - Bestial Warhearts

A duo from Vietnam that plays Black Metal. I loved the instrumental work, though the vocals was a bit annoying.

    Happy birthday Slim!

In Flames - Clad in Shadows('99 version)

A more modern version of their classic "Clad in Shadows" from their first album. It has the feel from the Clayman and Colony albums(probably just the type of guitar distortion), making it sound new. Similarily to their "Behind Space '99", they dumbed down the riffs a little bit, but you can still appreciate this song. A bit short for an In Flames song though.

Oh yeah, and happy b-day Slim. Had no idea. Cheers

That song has the same last name as my orthodontist. I must be sexy, now.

    Anyways. Currently listening to:

    <b>Kittie</b> - <i>In Dreams</i>
What has to be the best <b>Kittie</b> song ever. It has the beautiful lyrics, wonderful vocalist and tormented screaming.
