Meh, I'm not worried. I have heard worse then that...

Frenzal Rhomb - Punisher
From their album "Sans Souci". Pretty cool bass riff in it, which does me no favours considering I play Lead and Rythum Guitar...

What an original title for a song.

In Battle - De Hangdas Furste

Black metal from Sweden(I think). Not bad, but nothing too amazing either. Quite brutal I'd say.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under the Bridge

IMO, their best song by far. So mellow.... I love it. "Sometimes I feel like my only friend...." occasionally, that really rings true.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
and speak my point of view
But its not sane..
I just want some one to say to me
Ill always be there when you wake
Ya know Id like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and Ill have it made
And I dont understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that theres no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but its a great escape..
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain...

Smith, Soul To Squeeze owns it and you know it.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Setting Fire To Sleeping GIants

Obsessed with this. Very unlike them, riff based with mostly clean vox. But they still make use of their trademark alram clock fuck chords...

Sum 41 - Motivation

Just got it, pretty cool song from Sum 41, but then again, most of their stuff is pretty cool...

Soul to Squeeze does own, but Under the Bridge is the pinnacle of something or other.... I really can't argue much here.

So, then, on to some Stone Temple Pilots. Interstate Love Song, my favorite by them. They have lots of awesome songs.... but this one gets me for some reason.

Storm - Oppi Fjellet

Holy crap, if I was blonde/had blue or green eyes I'd swear I was a descendant from the vikings. This song really gets to me, even though I can't understand a word of it(except "oppi fjellet" ). It just feels so goddamned... patriotic and folky.
"Nordavind" is a great album... I gotta get my hands on some more viking metal.

Bright Eyes - Bowl Of Oranges

Very cool, emotive, folksy, alt rock stuff. Conor Oberst's voice has such a warm, easy listening timbre to it...

Nightwish - Dark Chest of Wonders

I just can't stop listening to "Once"... awesomeness abounds.
"I start to think there really is no cure for depression, that happiness is an ongoing battle, and I wonder if it isn't one I'll have to fight for as long as I live. I wonder if it's worth it."

You actually liked Once? I hated it.

Vital Remains - Let the Killing Begin / Dechristianize

Wow. Just wow. Dechristianize is probably the best Death Metal-album ever, tied with Cryptopsy - None So Vile. Awesome stuff.

Well, a few of the songs, mostly being "Dark Chest of Wonders", "Dead Gardens", and "Wish I Had an Angel". The rest of them are not bad, but those are the 3 I liked most. Those, and "10th Man Down", which wasn't on "Once", but was a good song, nonetheless.

Cave In - Big Riff

They can be forgiven for whatever other crap they've done. This song is class. The title is apt enough, too.

Avril Lavigne - Freak Out
Pretty good song. My favorite one from this CD is Forgotten which has a wonderful piano piece in the beginning. I prefer Under My Skin to Let Go, but I have to admit that her singing has gone more two-toned than before. She does have a rather nice voice on her debut album.

Hammerfall - I Want Out

Cover for a song by Helloween. It sounds very similar, and it features Kai Hansen.

Hell-o-yeah.

Breaking Benjamin - Polyamorous
I first started getting into these guys 'cause my girlfriend told me to download them. They're a rather good band, I must say. The other one she got me hooked on is Sugarcult.
