Frenzal Rhomb - Mum changed the Locks

Fast beat, hardly understandable Lyrics, common of all of Frenzal Rhombs songs nowdays...

Really just background music.

Anyways. I'm currently listening to:

Opeth - Closure
One of the first songs I heard by Opeth. I seriously am liking this band, although I must admit that their CDs so far that I have seen have been rather expensive. The one I wanted to pick up today but didn't was $30.99CAD plus taxes.
Just make sure if you plan on spending thick on them, don't get Damnation (The album with Closure) first.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Sir Psycho Sexy

Loving this band once again. When everybody yelled "suck my dick" during this song in encore. My favourite gig experience...

Sounds like a deal.

Alice In Chains - Brother
I love this band. I've been listening to them off and on for a while now. This has to be one of the greatest slow songs I've ever heard by anyone. Period. End of discussion.

Box Car Racer - Cat Like Thief

Fairly slow and depressing, but not as bad as some of the other stuff I have. Most of Box Car Racers stuff is slower then most of the other "Punk" around, which really gives it something the others don't have...

Incubus - Megalomaniac
From their newer album. Everyone should know this song. Not as great as some of the older Incubus stuff, but it's still pretty fucking good.

Jebadiah - Teflon

Pretty cool song, I love the guitar riff in it. All about getting tanked up as well, so thats pretty cool.

Nirvana - Lithium
One of my favorite Nirvana songs. Especially the last part:

"I like it - I'm not gonna cry
I miss you - I'm not gonna cry
I love you - I'm not gonna cry
I kill you - I'm not gonna cry"

Their best song. Cool.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Easily

On a RHCP spree, I've got no idea why I stopped listening to them for so long, even when I was going through my techskill is uber important phase...

Children of Bodom - She is Beautiful (Andrew W.K-cover)

Another song leaked from the Trashed, Lost and Strungout-EP. Another great coversong done by Bodom. Strange choice though, why Andrew W.K..? Bah, it's a nice song anyway. Only one song left on the new EP that has not been leaked yet, and that's the Alice Cooper-cover (Bed of Nails).

Ceremonial Oath - Hallowed Be Thy Name

This band is very good. Unfortunately, their cover for this Iron Maiden classic is not. Growls and Maiden just don't mix, but the instrumentals were nice. Anders voice in this album sound very similar from his vocals in "Whoracle"(In Flames), but the instrumentals have the old feel from the early In Flames. Couldn't get much better I say.

Edit:

Metallica - Disposable Heroes
Classic from the Master of Puppets album(which is my fav Metallica album, tied with Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning). Ceremonial Oath also has a cover for this song, not bad, but I just felt like hearing Hetfield's voice.

Edit2: Candlemass - Incarnation of Evil
No one is posting. Great doom metal, kind of like Black Sabbath but more modern(80's), yet it's still post NWOBM and thrash. Their songs are slow and epic, much like any good Doom metal band. Speaking of doom metal... check out this week's featured band: Pandemonium. It's really melodic death/doom, but what the hell.

Papa Roach - Do Or Die
Holy shit, this is a great song. I was never a big fan of the old Papa Roach, but when I heard Getting Away With Murder I found that I rather liked it. And this song is even better.

"The loneliness is setting it; there's no one to free my sins
It's never too late to live your life
The time is now it's do or die"

I'm glad they've moved past the massive cursing. That gets really annoying in a song.

King Diamond - The Invisible Guests

Special thanks to ^ for the reccomendation, it's a really great band. I wouldn't necessarily call them death metal because the (awesome) vocalist doesn't growl, so I prefer to think of them as good ol' Heavy metal. That's what the Metal Archives calls them too... then again, they classified Green Carnation as "Neoprogressive Goth metal"... whatever the fuck that is.

The Cure - Why Can't I Be You?
I'm listening to the acoustic version from their Greatest Hits album. Rather great stuff. I was pleased to notice that they have Lovesong on it, which is my favorite The Cure song ever.

Usher - Yeah!

Yes, I'm aware it's not the music you guys listen to. I like the beat to the song and some of the lyrics are good.
