    Default Emigration

Hi everyone. My family are thinking of moving from England to Australia. Im not sure what to think of this as I am 16 and am expecting my GCSE results soon and am looking forward to going to college. I just dont know!

I was just wondering if anyone from emuparadise had moved from England or any other country and what they thought of it now it had happened?

Havnt done so myself, but remember to post an update after a while of having moved and say what its like. Was it an improvement or a dissapointment.

Do people regularly get molested by koala's, in thier sleep, in the ear? Do kangaroos get annoying once the novelty has worn off?

But seriously it would be intersting to see what a fellow Brit thinks of another country to live in.

    Hey Morpheus
Actually I moved to Australia from Denmark to marry my fiancee here. What is it that you are concerned about in the move? Only thing that will happen is that you WILL be called a pom the rest of your life because you are from Great Britain... but it's not really that bad. You can still keep your british citizenship and become australian citizen too... 2 passports... good opportunity for you... I for one didn't get that option as Denmark doesn't allow dual citizenship... Bummer.
But one major thing that I noticed when I got here was that it's dry.. bloody dry compared to my standards... but the weather rocks as it's nice and warm. Where in Australia is your family thinking about migrating to?
Norgus: No... kangaroos doesn't get annoying... just a danger when you see what hitting them can do to your car... and you... trust me those "little" critters are built well and hitting them with 60KmH is like smashing into a pillar of cement... your car will be totalled and you might be killed... so beware

Kangaroos are probably nothing compared to CANADIAN MOOSES!
Here is a picture to make even more impression on everyone.

That apart, how is Australia? I ever imagined that horribly big spiders would creep in your shoes and that some banana may be parasited by spiders. And also, how hot can it be?

    Drop Bears are evil!!!

I dislike drop bears...For those playing at home, Drop Bears are Koala Bears which eat gum leaves, which ferment in their stomaches. When they drop out of the trees, they usually come up swinging, much the same as a drunken person. For those paying at home, Koala's have claws on them that would care the shit out of the hardiest of animals. Very sharp, can cut though Bore Iron, if you don't know what that is, then you haven't studied in school long enough, or your too old. Sometimes you can get really big drop bears...polar bear sized ones...they don't get up swinging though, they've usually killed you when they fall on top of you...

    Tassie Devils are cunts...
Kangaroos are nothing compared to Wallabies. They kick so much ass, not only in football!
"Come to Australia, You might accidently get KILLED!!!"

Oh, don't come to my house, I got another Outhouse that's getting taken care of on the weekend...

These guys are messing with you, no, kangaroos are RARELY seen, and so are koallas, unless you want to be a total weirdo and move somewhere arid, where there might be some, but in the cities (Melbourne, Sydney etc.) there are no kangaroos, no koallas...
    You are the weenie.
